Comment: after much thought, i am rating this swap as a 3. This was supposed to be a jar full of my favorite animals, what i got was a jar full of pink items. this was not a pink jar swap. I did recieve a set of flamingo salt and pepper shakers, however one was broken. alot of the items i recieved were either opened (lotions, nail polish) or just had nothing to do with anything related to this swap... show me how roses and smelly sachets and pink carmel apple lotion has anything to do with "my favorite animal swap" and I will rerate. this swap left me very dissappointed to say the least. i spent hours trying to find badgers for my partner, and when unsuccessful, i found other animals on her list to fill the rest of the jar. a little effort goes a long long way.

My gut was telling me from the very start that you were and I should have gone with my instincts. These were a christmas swap. If they dont arrive by December 25th, I will not change my rating even if they are the best tassels with extras!

Comment: It did not meet swap requirements. The envelope was not the designated size. Most of the items were not Christmas related. I was unsure of the small rectangles of pink paper. Also I have participated in many swaps through blogs. I have never received pictures cut from solicitations from charity organizations. I recognized the angel pictures that you sent as very similar to some that I had received from various charities. As well, I could read the letter that charities send on the back of several of the pictures that you sent. The bottle of infuser oil was not wrapped to protect it from breaking. That makes quite a mess.
Response: Why, in your opinion, does it not? At least a explanation is in order!
UPDATE: I am resending. I'm sorry that you did not appreciate my recycle and reuse efforts. everything will be BRAND new!

What are the cute little horse head beads for? what are the two sets of cards, one says "vintage memories" the other has dandelion heads on it.. what are the round stickers with stripes for? Response: The beads you can use for embellishments if you'd like. The green card with the allium(from the onion family) you can use as hangtags, on notecards, gift tags, however you want. Same with the vintage memories. You can use any of it in various ways! Let me know what you come up with, O.K?

That is not the intention. I'm simply going by the SB guidelines. 7/19 Update: Received the swap package. Sent late and arrived broken because a glass candle was put inside the glass jar without protection. 7/17 Update- I have a pm from you that says it was never sent because the person you gave it to went on vacation and didn't send it. So, it's not a resend, it's a send...which you said you were going to do this weekend. And don't forget to change the send date in the swap when you do get it out.
Response: You WILL receive package. I will resend, if necessary.
Update: Apparently she had someone go and get packages, so it HAS been sent. I just can't tell you what day. I'm sorry for the confusion and delay.
UPDATE: I am very sorry that the jar arrived broken! I am going to send you another one. I know that I can't do anything right in your eyes, but I'm trying. No need for a response, please. I cry everytime I read one of yours. Blessings!

Comment: I'm not usually picky or critical about the swaps I receive, but I've debated about this rating....I almost rated a 3, but I gathered everything met requirements. I am a bit disappointed with the swap. If you had read my profile, it says I don't appreciate candy unless it's sugar free. Also, who wants to receive an opened and half used pack of mechanical pencils? I also had difficulty seeing anything "artsy" about the cards you sent. The fabric was nice, though. Thank you for that. Thanks for the package, but altogether it felt rushed and little effort.

I have this fascination with all the art on the inside and the devotion people can have to something they don't know exists (I'm a major hippy, but I love that people can be that devoted to something without it BEING there, in a sence..
