I now live in Germany again. My boyfriend and I have a pet cat cushion called knuckles who is great because she doesn't shed or eat. We live on the third floor of a little old apartment building overlooking a park where people play boules despite the incline toward the road. We can see three cafes from our window but love cooking. We get a huge thrill from thrifting but try to live by the motto "It's not a bargain if you don't need it". I super adore our neighbourhood.

I love colour combinations. Peach and yellow have caught my recent attention, but old classics such as blue&red, yellow&black have stayed with me. As for colours on their own; grey, brown, green are tops.
I have two colours that make me uncomfy (alone or combined) because of a scarring childhood clothing clash; purple and orange.
I love vintage 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s styles. I collect kitchen goods, clothing, furniture etc and chase the more subtle pastels and patterns of art deco and 50s fun. I love distinctive architecture, angular shapes and period styles and working these into patchworked things. Deco is always inspiring. Kitsch is fun!

Hi Olivia I was just wondering why your cat doesnt eat :o)
Thank you for the lovely bamboo yarn!!! You are sooo kind! I hope your trip is going well!!
Hi Olivia, re the magazine page zine swap, I realise now you've photocopied a magazine page, which is what confused me, because when I started the swap I meant for it to be an actual original magazine page which was used. So it would be a complete one-off minizine for your partner. I think maybe I didn't make that clear in the swap description. But I really like the one you made me, it's very cute and funny.
