About Me
Hiya, I'm Anu, Finnish, quite artistic and curious young lady who is always looking for something new, something to enjoy and be surprised of. I'm studying cultural management at the moment and I have a huge passion towards arts and music.
I also enjoy crafts, drawing, meeting new ppl and getting to know different cultures.
Favorite Music
I live with the energy I get from music. I listen basically everything from classical to black and death metal. And I'm always open for new bands/music to listen to. :)
- Always up for music swaps, you never know what you can get.
Favorite Crafts
Drawing is over everything at least at the moment, I also like knitting, photoshopping and doing all kind of small crafties. Oh and different kind of illustrations.
Oh and I do love paper crafts a lot, making cards, scrapbooks for photographs, etc.
Some themes I enjoy in the art are - - fairytales - - cute things - - commercial (photos, advertisement) - - conceptual - - photojournalism - - urban, rural, street ( graffitis/stickers ) - - traditional stuff, paintings, sculptures, even things like cavepaintings etc. - - prints of all kinds
Things I like:
- Old School-stuff, 20's, 50's, vintage all together (poetry, maps, keys, pictures, books, style etc.)
- Papers (handmade, printed)
- Tea and coffee (Open for everything new, excluding basic black teas)
- Tattoos
- Travelling (maps, pictures, postcards, things typical to the place)
- Fashion (pictures, fabrics, shows, designers, recycled things, 2nd hand, customizing)
- Movies (everything from silent films to horror and so on, movies by Tarantino, Burton etc.)
- Photographs (b/w's, pin up, nature, urban.. everything)
- Illustrations (Cute things, old fairytale illustrations, clever pics, anti-advertisement etc)
- Cooking/Baking (always willing to try out new recipes)
- Pop Culture (art, crafts, images, stories and articles, posters! )
- Fairytales, myths, legends, folk stories, old stories
- Geeky things like Nintendo, Super Mario, Zelda
- Kawaii stuff; Totoro/Ponyo/Ghibli things, cupcakes, CRUX japan, Q-lia etc, My little ponies (the toys).
Things I dislike:
- I'd rather not to receive anything religious, I'm more of a spiritual person. :)
- Glitter/bling bling/pink/pastel colors/overly babyish things (don't confuse 'em with kawaii stuff thou :p )
- Overlytacky Disney stuff ; Winnie the Pooh, princesses etc.
- Cigarettes
- Bookmarks, postcards with overly used themes like sunset, beach, random flowers, dogs, cats, horses etc.
- Sporty things
Safarithemed stuff, zebra/leopard etc patterns..

Aww wow, Welcome! :D It's great to have you, the more the merrier! I only joined in September but have been sending mail since I was a wee child! If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask! And once you've got a few more ratings I can invite you to all the groups I am an Officer in, if you're interested, since they have lots of fun games and more personal swaps and such, it's a great place, I hope you like it! :D I host lots of little swaps now and then, usually just quick ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) and try to include odd stuff like Video games, geekery, old stuff, if you have any suggestions or ideas I'm always open!
Hee hee, it seems you're quite right! Would you perhaps like to do a private swap? I see a number of things that we could swap about, vid games, movies, kawaii, fairytales, haha the list just goes on and on!
