I hate my mailbox and love art which is how my best friend convinced me to join this site. I figured my mailbox was only good for bills but I'm looking forward to receiving fun mail now :D

I'm a college student in Sacramento, Ca. I am a psychology major. I have been getting asked recently if I am able to "evaluate" people with my training... the answer is no, not yet :D.

I have two tiny dogs I consider my babies: Lady, King Charles Cavalier and Twink, Chihuahua. I also have a long haired grey kitty. I'm engaged (to Carl) with no planned date to marry at the moment.

I love being outside - gardening, hiking, swimming (when the weather is right).

Green, brown and blue are my favorite colors (Best combination is turquoise and brown). Summer is my favorite season for temperature but Falls also a favorite because of the rich leaf colors.

My favorite place to vacation would be a beach, love water, the ocean, swimming, etc.

In school history was my favorite subject. I like old vintage things when it comes to furniture and jewelry.

I lived in Oregon for 4 years. I love the Ducks Go U of O!! My favorite thing about Oregon was the pace of the environment and the beautiful foliage and waterfalls.

I love traveling. I was born in California but have lived in Washington and Oregon. I've traveled to New York, Az and Nevada. I've spent a summer in Europe and loved ever ysecond of the experience. My favorites were Italy, Switzerland, Ireland & Germany. I'd like to travel a lot more especially to Ancient Nubia, India, the Ancient Greek capitols, China, Japan, Australia, Spain, & anywhere else. In the US I'd really like to do a country road trip around the southern border - Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and on up to Maine.

I love sports, my favorite pass time is laughing, favorite food is probably pickles, I'm a soda addict (literally), and I love to cook! I love chocolate, cookies, pies but not cake for some reason. I love pizza and hamburgers.

I'm not allergic to anything :-).

Scrap booking is what I do most. Photography, crocheting (mostly blankets since I seem to only perfect squares, circles and rectangles), painting, are other crafts I like also. I've been experimenting lately with making candles and bath salts. I'd like to expand to making soaps (preferably the bar soaps).

Trying to get into small projects like sewing purses and pillows but I'm not very good at them yet. Not very experienced with a wide variety of crafts but am looking forward to trying new projects.

Craft items that are very useful to me: Stationary for pen palling Unique brads ribbons buttons (not just solid colors, decorated/designed) 12x12 paper (not just solid colors, decorated/designed) Smaller colorful papers for decoration pressed flowers nature/animal pictures letter tiles embossing glitters acid free pens acid free adhesives colored ink pads (please no stamps unless they're the alphabet), etc.

Other items I love: Recipes (I LOVE to cook!), homemade soap recipes, anything pets, anything "I love Lucy", anything Celine Dion, picture frames, decorative magnets, holiday decorations (handmade or otherwise), scenic/nature pictures, post cards, letters, pressed flowers (think i already said that), bath salts, homemade soaps or lotions, homemade candles (any sents, I'm not particular), tiny random metal objects (like a thumb protector for sewing, collecting things like this for a project i'm doing), etc.

Things I do NOT want: Anything lemon, garbage from your junk drawer, advertisement cards, & that's it for now. No Hello Kitty.

I like almost all books. Lately I've been reading: Hunger Games series, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Fall, Shiver, Fallen, House Of Night #1-6, etc.

Favorite authors are John Grisham and Tamora Pierce. Favorite book of all time is: Coming Of Age In Mississippi.

I'm on Goodreads and it list what I've read and what's in my library (though they're almost all ebooks).

My favorite artist is Celine Dion - I guess she's more of an idol. I finally was able to see her in person for my 21st birthday!

Musicals: Rent, Hairspray, Phantom, Wicked, Aida, etc. Country: Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson, Shania, Carrie Underwood, Sugar land, etc Popular: Nickleback, Daughtry (sp), etc. Other Favs: Celine Dion, Anthony Hamilton, Il Divo, Temptations, etc.

I like some of the current music but "oldies" are really my favorites. Ive never gotten into rap really or the hard metal rock however there are a few exceptions to the rap/hard metal rock. Music is my what I love most in life.

His birthday is November 3rd (25 yrs old) so this swap is just in time!

Dislikes: Pink and purple. Country music.

Likes: Everything else! :D Very laid back and not picky.

Food: Loves absolutely any kind of food so recipes are always welcome. Cake and his favorite candy is Turtles or Rolos. Probably should avoid sending food March - October though as Cali is still pretty warm.

Hobbies: Video games, music, spending time with friends, our dogs, loves movies (all kinds). He loves to draw. So pencils, shading materials, drawing pads/paper, art chalks, etc are always loved. Anything to do with drawing. Also picture frames... I hang every thing he draws.

Fav music: rock, some metal, some rap, techno, classical (Bach) music.

Fav movies: Anything but gooshy romance. Harry Potter series is a true love. He's looking forward to the next one very much. We don't get to go out much so its our date night for November :D

Pictures, Postcards, anything related to traveling. He's never been to a beach or to disneyland (Who doesnt go to disneyland?).

He loves our two dogs but has a cat he loves a little bit more. His names Dobbie (From Harry Potter), a long haired grey kitty with attitude. Perhaps a halloween costume would be cute and fun (a little torture for the kitty with attitude). He loves playing with his cat so anything fun, feathery, fuzzy or colorful works. (No little parts -- not a smart kitty).
