Merry Christmas! (card swap)

Hi, Do the cards have to handmade or can they be store bought?

Isn't the mailing date a little early for Christmas?

This is an international swap and the mailing date from a lot of countries, including Canada (which is where our host lives, as do I) for Christmas mail going overseas is in November. Our host is doing the right thing by making sure everyone gets their cards before Christmas and the seasonal mail rush - less chance for overseas mail to get lost or not arrive in time. (I personally will not join Christmas swaps that have send by dates in December for that very reason.)

I would suggest putting the swap and your SB name on the outside of the envelope so your partner can rate you a 5 to let your know it was received without having to open it right away. Then when it is opened it in December, they can always go back and rate a heart if they wish. (";)

From the categories, it appears that this is a handmade card swap. But 10 is a lot. I will pm her to come and clarify for us...

Sorry I was away guys. Thanks TerryF for helping out! This one is not a handmade card swap - unless you would like to make the cards - all senders choice. (I was thinking of hosting a handmade card swap - but with less partners.)

Terry is also correct on the reson for the early send date - sometimes it can take up to a month to send overseas! I know I would like to have my Christmas cards on display for a while before I take all me holiday decorations down :)

Please let me know if you do a handmade swap, as I love to make cards I will be sending out homemade for all my swaps but would like to get in as many as I can. I love to receive cards.

Ok Auntjenni's cards have been angelled and sent out, I've heard back from Ichigoshortcake and her cards should be on there way. Unfortunately haleybug is not responding to any of my emails or PMs so I will angel her partners as well.

I will be angelling for Haleybug as I can't seem to get ahold of her.
