I am a SAHM to a 3 yr old girl and a 6 yr old boy. I am active in my MOPS group and my church. I volunteer at my son's school as much as I can. I love to garden, craft, read decorating blogs, and work on my house, one room at a time! I love all things sparkly. I love pink. I like to bake, but I hate doing dishes... ;) I love play dates with friends. I am addicted to Gymboree for my kids. My husband rocks! My cocker spaniel is adorable, but she is almost 12, which makes me sad.

I love music, pretty much any kind. I listen to a lot of Christian music on the radio because I don't want my kids to repeat a lot of the things they might hear. I secretly rock out when they're not in the car! lol I like the kind of music they play on Grey's Anatomy. I used to do a lot of Country, but I'm getting tired of it now. I love 80's bands. I get totally excited when a neighborhood night of Wii Rock Band is announced!

I read a lot of Nicholas Sparks, Twilight books, suspense novels, James Patterson, detective/police stories, some Barbara Delinsky style books. I like to go to the new section at the library and just grab random books, like the books from Oprah.

I love chick flicks, comedies, really good suspense movies, inspirational, action, a big range. Recently, I've like The Blind Side, The Lovely Bones, the Twilight movies, The Proposal. I like Sandra Bullock, Will Smith, Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Hugh Jackman, so many!

I have been hooked on Survivor for years, as well as LOST, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Food Revolution, Martha Stewart, The Biggest Loser, mostly prime time. I only have 13 channels, so I don't know what's on all of the fancy networks anymore. I used to have HGTV and loved all of the decorating shows and Trading Spaces.

I love to do crafts with beads, wood, metal, doing Goodwill makeovers, seasonal crafts, a little sewing (very little!), and a little paper crafting.

My home colors are fairly neutral. I've had a lot of color in my decorating, but I'm working to more beiges and whites. I have chocolate brown in my kitchen, the dining room is more cottage whites, the bathrooms are browns, the bedroom is black and white toile. I used to be very country, but now am working for a classier look, a little Martha Stewart, a little more elegant. I'm adding stone tile floors, granite counters, more moulding, changing out hardware and lights, painting walls, and it's a fun process!

I love pinks and mochas for nail polish colors. I love Burt's Bees Lip Balm. I prefer lotions and candles that are scented like baked goods ;) and love tarts better than candles. I really like magazines about decorating, cooking, and crafting. I like kitchen gadgets. I prefer neutral colors for dishtowels. I love glass beads and cute buttons for crafting. I love pens, ballpoint better than gel. I don't do anything theme-related like Disney, Barbie, cartoon characters, etc. I like glass tile pendants, bracelets, etc. I don't do sports. I like old canning jars. I like recipes that don't use red meat. I love sparkly bobby pins.
