Life is super busy right now, so I might be MIA, but I will rate and send my swaps.
I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and two mini schnauzers.
I love to write, do all sorts of crafting, softie making, painting, collage and drawing. And yoga, when I'm being good.
I'm vegetarian, and I don't use any cosmetics, hair care or body products that use animal products or are tested on animals. LUSH and The Body Shop are my heroes.
I always send my swaps, so if Australia Post lets me down, send me a quick email and I'll resend.
Our post is usually fairly quick, but I am on the other side of the world to most people! See the bottom of my profile for info on posting to Australia.
I pop my swaps up on flickr, so if you like surprises, no peeking!
I love books! I love the moomin series, Philip Reeve's steampunk series are awesome, Harry Potter, anything by Terry Pratchett, Keri Arthur.Genre-wise, I like urban fantasy - Keri Arthur is awesome - fantasy but not high fantasy as a rule (too many words with not enough vowels and an overload of apostrophes.) Kids books. Winnie the Pooh! Alice in Wonderland.
Ok, I like most tv. i confess. But if I had to choose... Buffy, Star Trek et al, Firefly, The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, ANTM (yep, I get that trashy), battlestar galactica, doc martin, blackadder, Chuck, Doctor Who, Torchwood (love love torchwood) New tricks, Firefly, the Young Ones And movies: Anything by pixar - especially Monsters Inc- Harry Potter, Star Wars (the original ones) Serenity, LOTR
I love Blythe, Moomins, squirrels, bunnies, toadstools and mushrooms, moose, gnomes, deer & fawns, moss, hedgehogs, funky stationary, stripy socks and mary jane shoes. Gingerbread men, fairies, penguins, bumble bees, koalas, acorns, snails. Steampunk. Rubber ducks. Etsy, Hello Kitty. Kawaii, strawberries, apples, kewpies, ladybugs, monkeys, piggies, owls - woodland! - monsters, little red riding hood. Crafty things, beautiful papers especially ones for collage, stationary and stickers!, recycled, vintage or environmentally friendly things. Buttons and Ribbons. Ric-Rac. Hair Clips! Oh, how i love hair clips! And post-its! coloured, shaped or patterned post-it notes (sticky notes) make my work day happy!
I like drawing and painting with acrylics, collage, sewing softies, printmaking. I don't scrapbook - I love cute or textured papers but i use them for collage, so I always love plain papers or basic patterns like polka dots! I also write and I want to learn Illustrator this year so I can do digital art. I also want to make more clothes for my Blythe Dolls this year too, if only to stop them nagging me! LOL.
Bean is an Asian Butterfly with the long blue hair. She is my favourite one (shh!) who went with me to New York when i went a few years ago. Natalie is blonde, she was my first Blythe. Lily is a bit punky-goth with her short black bob. She lives at my work to keep me company during the day.
I love greens - mint, apple, sage, bamboo, and blues - aqua, seafoam, sky blue, midnight blue, Tiffany blue, duck egg. soft greys, raspberry, blossom pink, black. I love the gorgeous patterns and colourways from Amy Butler, polka dots and stripes. Kokka fabric makes me smile.
postal restrictions: Australia has strict customs because we have a lot of flora and fauna (like koalas) that don't live anywhere else. And we don't have a lot of diseases (like rabies). So the following types of things can't be mailed to me if you're outside Australia: Plants, seeds, nuts, doggy treats or dog food, dairy products (but packaged confectionery and chocolate is ok - thank goodness!) meat products (not that I eat them anyway!), grains and legumes, tea that has seeds or fruit peel in it, dried or fresh fruit. And don't forget to pop a customs form on - otherwise who knows where it will end up! LOL.
Allergies & Dislikes: I don't have any allergies, but I don't smoke and my schnauzers don't drop hair, so I really don't like smoky, hairy packages! LOL. I don't like orange flavoured chocolate, or chewing gum.I'm not Christian but I'm interested in Buddhism.

Thank you for the gorgeous WTA gift. I love it. And your letter. Cheers Helen
Hiya, I recieved the coinpurse you sent from the WTA in the geek forums - Thank you! It's really cute =) Also, thank you for the wee letter and chocolate. My gran has 2 mini schnauzers (Clover & Bruno) and has had others from since I can remember =) Take care, Nicola x
Hello Littlefec, Thank you for thinking about this. It isn't so bad coming this way( all my parcels have turned up) it just seems to be me sending parcels out and it has only been one that got lost so far. You can send it here but I wouldn't register it it is frightfully expensive to do so and will defeat the purpose of swaps not costing so much. The other option is you can send it to a Melbourne address as I am passing through there in about 3 weeks. Let me know what you want to do and I can email you the Oz address. Cheers
nope, i havent received anything yet, still waiting!
Hiya! How's it going? I was just going through all the envies I'm saving for our geography unit and I just noticed all the lovely stamps you used ON THE ENVIE!! Just wanted to say thanks. Looking forward to our next swap! :)
