My name is Jamie and I'm 30 years young! I'm single (and loving it!) and have 2 furbabies-a cuddly cat named Ricky Ricardo, and a sassy black lab. dog named Sosha. I'm a special education teacher for young children with special needs, and love each and every one of my kiddos!

I am a HUGE I Love Lucy fan and collect anything and everything to do with the show and/or Lucille Ball / Desi Arnaz.

I also love snowmen, preferably those with blue accents on them.

I like almost all types of music (except for hard, head banging rock). Some of my favorite bands are 3 Doors Down, Nickleback, Muse, Uncle Kracker, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Adam Lambert, Train, Jay-Z, and Eminem.

I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter and Twilight series books! I also like Torey Hayden books. I also like chlildren's books, especially old Winnie-the-Pooh books, Shel Silverstein, and Golden Books (old and new).

I like mostly romantic comedies and comedies. I'm not a fan of scarry movies at all! I like the Harry Potter and Twilight series movies, Mr. Holland's Opus, Rainman, The Pacifier, Annie (with Carol Burnett), and any movie with Lucille Ball and/or Desi Arnaz.

I don't watch a ton of television, but I am a HUGE fan of the show I Love Lucy!! I also like NCIS, Bones, and House, MD.

I do a little crocheting (mostly dishclothes). I've recently discovered the fun using stamps to make my own holiday/note/thankyou/etc. cards. I haven't gotten to anything too fancy yet, but am having a ton of fun coming up with basic, but cute, cards!

I am very new to this, and am not really sure what ATC's or Friendship Books are. If there is anyone out there who would be willing to help me out with learning these things, I'd appreciate it! :)
