Description:

This swap is aimed at those like me who are sick of nothing but junk mail and bills.

You will have 3 partners. You will take a long envelope and put things in there for your partners and mail them off. You must include at least 3 things...Easy peasy...

NO JUNK!!!!!

If you send sheets of notepad/memo paper 5 sheets count as 1 item.

No ribbon less than 12 inches long

2 stickers count as 1 item unless they are bigger than a quarter.

No stickers smaller than a dime.

No teacher/reward stickers

No bent, torn or unsticky stickers

You can mail a larger envie if you like but the minimum is the long business size envie.

I am putting this as a type 2 flat mail swap but you can turn it into a type 3 on your own if you like... lol

When you receive your envies you MUST rate a 5 as long as you get 3 items in your envie. Unless it is complete garbage but not if it is just something you dont like.

No recent 1s or 3s. Newbies welcome with well filled out profile.

I wonder if I'm the only person who doesn't mind getting junk mail, or what some of us instead call "trashy treasures". :) You'd be amazed what junk mail often contains, especially if you've ever gotten mail from charitable organizations seeking donations. I've gotten such goodies as stickers, note cards, address lables, post-it notes, key chains, socks, winter gloves, post cards, a rosary, magnets, pens, pencils, calendars, world maps, note pads, book marks, rulers, craft patterns, and oodles more and all for free. Plus even when there's nothing actually sent with the junk mail, sometimes there are interesting images or text which can be saved for making collages and other paper crafts.

lol... I love that kind of junk mail but Im talking about the preapproved credit card stuff and that kind of junk mail.

Wow you must live in a charitable area. I don't get the good kind of it!

Wow - I'm with zurdoswifey - I just get the real junk mail too.

How long after the swap closes does it take to assign partners?

zurdoswifey 05/ 4/2010 #

I assigned them I dunno why it didnt go through.... but they are assigned now... SORRY EVERYONE!!!

make one donation to any non profit & you will be sold like a cheap tart to every other mailing list data base. Soon your mail box too will overflow with the "here's a trinket, gimme money for my cause" solicitations. I could wall paper my studio with address labels alone....happy to swap with anyone who wants cards/note pads, etc...

What counts as a recent "one"?? Cause you have some swappers in here...

zurdoswifey 05/10/2010 #

a recent one is in the last 4 months.. I checked everyone that didnt have a perfect score tp see when they got the 1s and why ... I also checked to see if there were any recent 5s... so everyone that is in the swap was personally passed by me...
