They remind me of some classic candies from my childhood: Circus Peanuts and candy-coated marshmallow Easter eggs. They aren't easy to find these days. It was fun to try the Haribo version. Thank you!!!

I just want to add that there were 2 envelopes that weren´t decorated (one handmade and one storebought Kawaii one), the swap description says : You can use handmade or storebought envelopes, - but still have to decorate them. (Ideas: peautiful paper, stickers, washitape, ribbons, fabric, embelishments, drawings, paintings, rubber stamping...) But it´s no problem, I´ll be more clear about that in the no 2 swap. So, again thanks a lot and best wishes, Betty PS.: The stamps aren´t postmarked, if you need them, let me know and I´ll send them back to you :).

Comment: Very lovely. Such a nice choice of song and image to go with. Very poignant. You might want to consider adding a cardboard ring around your box though as it arrived dented and smushed. I think you've gotten one from me this way before? If not, check out the forums as I have a post on mailing this way. Sadly when I tried to reform it, some beads fell off. So sad. Such a shame. The postal service is so rough. Oh well, still beautiful, one of my faves. TY ETA: no need. I can fix the beads and you did your best and tried to send it safely.

I am so sorry...and I appreciate you being understanding, your rules were so strict I really wanted to stick to them and it's a shame I could not. I will send something your way to make up to this! The candy sprinkle plastic bottle cracked open but very few were lost. Those are perfect and I know you read my profile well.Let me know how you come out with the Fondant cake toppings. Italy items are different than what is here in USA but our grocery store does quite good on many things. I got many Thai products. I always take photos of my swaps to prove I prepared them and sent them :) / UPDATE, 29/10/08 I just got my package back, with a lot of stuff written and sticked on it, and a message saying "forward time expired - return to sender"...I think this says all. I'll send you back the same matchbox, and the date written on the original stamp will also prove once for all that I sent it on time. UPDATE 11/6/08 oh I am SO glad everything eventually went right. Response: Oh I am so glad you appreciated my effort :D Maybe it wasn't an artwork but I thought it would have been less unpersonal than a simple envelope...The candies are good too, the long ones are a bit hard at the beginning but then they are so deliciously fruity! Enjoy it all then, and I hope that you'll find a good use for all or at least a big part of the stickers. Ciao! :)

Comment: This was such a nice package. Even the little eggs were excellent!! The lindt was a treat for my fellow employees too. I brought it to work yesterday and it was a bad day. It was nice to break out the sweets and help everyone unwind with some chocolate.
