Description:

For this swap, you will send your partner a few items to make the dreary winter days a bit more pleasant.

It can be anything you think your partner can use or will enjoy: hot drink sachets or mixes, candles, bookmark, candy, chocolate, dish towel, paper napkins/serviettes, profile goodies, etc. Basically, anything you can think of to brighten the somber winter days. (If you send something to drink or eat, check your partners Profile for allergies, dietary restrictions and the like.)

You will have two weeks to get your swap out, giving you enough time to get something special together. Please only send something that you would enjoy receiving yourself. Swap value is €5.

A few things to keep in mind: Package your swap well. It goes through a lot of hands from the moment you mail it off until it gets to your partner, and they are not all gentle hands. Remember to include both the swap name and your username. Last but not least, please be courteous and rate promptly upon receiving! It may seem like no-brainers, but often we are up and running while the brain is still snoozing. ;)

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to post them in the comment section below or drop me a PM.

I deliver mail myself and yes: it's very important to wrap up your items as good as possible. It's better to put things in a big-sized envelope in which everything is spread out than in a little one which is thick because all items are piled up. Sometimes we (mailmen/-women) have big problems to put things into a mailbox, because the content of the package is shifted. Collect air-bubbled plastic (is that the right English word?) or re-use an envelope from your online order.

Advice from a pro! Thanks, @uiltje :)

(The 'air-bubbled plastic' is called 'bubble wrap' -- although 'air-bubbled plastic' is a much better term because that is exactly what it is! :D)

Is kazakhstan in Europe?

devilspigeonhole 01/ 2/2014 #

@rilakkumasensei - no, I'm afraid Kazakhstan isn't in Europe.

You can find the International version of this swap here. :)
