Candy from your part of the world #4

this sounds like a lot of fun, but in my part of the world (at least) chocolate would arrive in a runny puddle...

I mean in July/August, obviously; not all year 'round...

I sent my candy overseas and it says it will take up to 10 days to arrive so you need to take that into sending stuff overseas. Plus I spent 6.00 on candy and 20.00 on postage. So your looking at spending 30.00 to send a swap. So people should know this before signing up. Di

$20 in postage???? where in the world did you send to??? just curious because none of my postage has been that expensive. So far. Then again I'm new.

wvfiddler - I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that in the swap description - I forgot to put that last time too.. I managed to find a good selection of gummies and non-melty things to send last time, so there are still plenty of options besides choc :]

Dibrittain - I guess people just have to take into account if they want to join that this is obv an international swap and they may have to spend a fair bit on postage as candy can be quite heavy.. I suppose it's just a personal choice on how much you're prepared to spend..?

Dibrittain - Send something light like popcorn :-D

Last time I took part in a similar swap I got a pack of gum and lots of black licorice from Finland, despite what it says on my profile. So, please, please, please, no black licorice for me!

Personally I don't mind if the chocolate melts! As long as it's safe in its wrapper it's cool. lol! :3

Please, please, please no black licorice (red is great!) or coconut! Chocolate will almost definitely melt, but I'm okay with that. :)

I don't mind receiving melted chocolate! I used to leave my chocolate bars in the sun to melt before eating them...lol. I hate black licorice.

I'm looking forward to this swap and I'd love to try something new or different, especially if I'm receiving outside of Canada/USA. The things I DON'T like are black licorice, Peeps, Jolly Ranchers, liqueur filled chocolates or marzipan. Thanks :)

Okay, I know it says this in my profile already, but I don't like peanuts so nothing peanut flavoured for me. Other nuts are okay, it's just peanuts I dislike. Other than that I'm ready to try anything although I think the best chocolate comes from Finland. You can try to prove me wrong or just send something else :D

Also, is it one or two partners? In the description it says two, on the summary it says one..

I like pretty much anything, except for black licorice.

Dibrittain - I too spent an aweful lot on postage my first time around and will be more careful about not going quite so overboard with quantity this time... but someone will still be spoiled!

I will try this again one last time...with the candy that is, lol! I am an american living abroad and miss Jolly Ranchers, Hershey's chocolate and Freedent gum the most. If I ship a pound of candy it will cost over 20 USD, also...Select wisely, friends! :)

Yay!!! Im a candy fan. I'm not down with popcorn- unless it's kettle corn. Down with most anything. Not too keen on anything too chewy- think licorice, starbursts, etc. Although I love gummis. Chocolate is always nice.

I love all forms of chocolate and don't care if its melty. I also love really bizzare and unusual candy- anything I can't get here in the U.S. My all time favorite is Cadbury.

I like chocolate, but not dark chocolate. I'd love to try something interesting and different! I also dislike black licorice. I like candy with peanut butter in them. I'm excited to try something new!

Hi,how exciting:))) i really really love Hersheys cookies and cream and Milk dots:) just love chocolates(no dark though,prefer white)

mmm yummy...chocolate with nuts (except for peanuts! I'm so sorry but I can't stand peanuts :( ) chocolate with nuts and caramel, chocolate with caramel...chocolate with wafers....but i've always fancied candy from other parts of the world! I love fruity flavors of anything.

OH and if it's sugarfree i'll definitely LOVE it! but it's not a must...

you may have already figured this out, betty, but you can see who everyones partner is when you look at the list of who is signed up for the swap. It's an option near their name where "ban this user from swap" used to be.

Sadly, my partner has removed all her details (they were there when I assiged partners, but they're gone now) and isn't replying to PMs, so I have no way of sending to her!!
