I was at a medical appt this afternoon so he checked the mailbox and your ME paper had come unstuck on one side from the Amazon envelope you repurposed, so he assumed our mail carrier had mis-delivered someone else’s package, and he put it back out in the mailbox with the red flag up. When I got home and saw a white address label attached to a single piece of ME calendar page I asked him where the rest of the mail was and he told me. 😅

Comment: 💕💕Wow, Anitra, this is such an incredible chunk o’ cardboard! I wish I could give more than just one heart! I’d say it’s not only the ‘randomest,” I’d say it’s the most fun! I do a lot of jigsaw puzzles (& pass them on afterwards), so at first I thought it was an add for puzzles, and then I wondered if someone was thanking me for a puzzle. But it was a swap! THANK YOU! I wouldn’t have thought it made it thru the mailing system, but it did! What absolute fun to receive and read. Another commonality: my mom was born in 1926, too! There’s a magazine that I read every so often and I found some useful ideas in it that will allow me to put the spiral notebook you sent to good use. I plan to use it to make cluster pages, which will allow me to have things already made up to use for journaling. I appreciate the ephemera you sent. The soap sparked an interest…lol. I looked it up online. There’s many different other types of soaps from the owner. I wasn’t sure if the plastic on the soap was supposed to be opened, but I did see online that the owner makes a variety of their items with jagged edge. Take care and be safe.

Thank you so much for your lovely letter. Your handwriting is beautiful and you can keep a straight line. If I had to write on that paper my handwriting would be OK, but my sentences would be flowing all down the page.
In New Mexico , we have 4 distinct seasons. Right now we are in the season of Fall.
I have a Pintrest account and I collect books, quotes, inspirational, and then some craft ideas. I can't remember all the boards I have but those are some of them.
I really appreciate your Pocket Letter on Fall considering you don't like the season. I like how all the paper on front is connected and how you included a quote. I also appreciate all the goodies that you enclosed in each pocket for me. You did a good job on this Pocket Letter.

Response: Glad you liked it! Is the house close to you? If not, I'd probably advise you to use a property manager. We've been long-distance landlords, and it's not easy. Otherwise, just find out as much as you can about prospective renters. One thing we learned the hard way: If they can't afford the move-in costs (1st mnth + security, at a minimum), they probably can't afford the house. And make sure they have enough income! Good luck--it can be really sweet. We love all our current tenants. :o)

JoAnns fabrics carries double sided fusible iron on stabilizer. It makes fabric cards stiff and they go through postal machines easier. Thanks again.
Response: Oh, thanks for that info! I used Pellon interfacing, and iron-on fusing sheet. This was my first attempt, and I was a bit at a loss, trying for something you could sew to another PC later. Hope you can iron out the fold lines.

Response: I'm so glad you like it! And it was really easy to crochet--just use a big needle and keep your stitches loose. Honestly? The hard part was doing the strips. Don't go narrower than 3/8-1/2 inch if you tear it, or they break, but cutting you can go as narrow as you like. Thanks for the heart!

Re Your Questions: I drew the face using an ink pen, and extra-fine sharpie, and then colored the features with fabric crayons. The squiggly dangle I got in a wire-wrapped charm swap, to which I added the bottom element.

Love the yellows and golds the best. the knots on the inside in all those colors is really awesome. I got the sleeves on eBay. They're advertised as both sports card sleeves and ATC sleeves, so I'm thinking if you have a place nearby that sells baseball cards you could get them there, too. For larger sleeves, I go to Arvey Paper, here in town. I think they have a web presence, though.

Response: Merry Christmas! It gives me a huge smile to know you liked the bookmark!
Technique: I got the image from an old cookbook, scanned it in, and printed it on textured paper. Then I used crayons to color parts of it. The backing I chose for its vintage look and the fact that it would fray easily, then unraveled some top and bottom. Sometimes I sew the back to the front, sometimes (if the fabric won't show it) I use glue, and sometimes (yours), I use double-sticky tape. Easy peasy! Hope you get pleasure from making some of your own! (And if you want, I can send you additional cooking strip jpgs--just PM me. =^D )
