I must say to all of my recent swappers......You guys are the bestest people in the whole world! I realize that's not a word, but my deepest expression!

Since I've found this place I've made lots of friends. I begin sewing in Jan/Feb this year and already made so many things while fine tuning my sewing and quilting skills! I also realize that knitting and crocheting is not a fit for me! I'd rather be at my sewing machine!! So I will be swapping with whom ever needs all this yarn and needles.

One other thing, I really love it when people just Out of the blue send Truffles something. He's my furry kid! Since my real ones grew up and not here any more.

I have a Singer Featherweight that also got in Jan. but I find it very difficult to make any quilts on that itty bitty thing. So I went and put a down payment on a Janome MC 6300 recently and can't wait to get it home now.

On the downside here. Some of you know about my mail situations. About 1/2 of the time my mail is delivered to a lady one street over. We became good friends! I get lots of other peoples mail too. I've had lots of things lost in the mail along those were some important documents. The Postal Service has gotten so bad that they even stick our mail in my in laws POB. This has been getting worse since Nov 2010. So if you do not get my swap, within a reasonable time, please let me know. I keep thinking it will get better....well it hasn't yet! With the high postal rates they should be on top of it!!I Word is that Canada is on a strike....I don't know.

So if you don't get my swaps, I'll gladly (with fingers crossed) re-send a swap!

I have recently took up sewing mainly because I was given a machine and discovered I enjoy it so much that I went out and bought some fabric and patterns and wholla! I became Sew Magic! LOL

I am also dabbling in other crafts such as painting t shirts, got a flower loom to make flowers. Made some felt Valentine bags for my son's party.

I kinda like card making, but not scrapbooking. Not yet got the hang of knitting but still working at it.

Since my thyroid surgery I am allergic to most perfumes and cosmetic's and lots of household cleaning solutions/sprays. So please what ever you do do not send and thing like this. I even threw out my candles.
