Response: I received a previous journal with a bread pocket in it and liked the idea so much I used it here. Glad you liked the journal. v
Response: That was just me trying to keep them flat in the envelope so the post office wouldn't charge me more!
Response: Your great comment is the highlight of my day! Thank you.
Response: You have made my day!
Response: Thank you. For the background I collaged text pieces onto a large sheet, tissue papered over that, then added bits of light paint and stamping. When cards were cut from the large piece, I added stenciled images. I love making a large piece then cutting cards out of that.
Response: Yes, I was glad it was Free Theme so I could go with vintage.

Response: She's actually off a 70's sewing pattern, but I can see the resemblance to Velma!
Response: Sorry. I always try to put the name of the swap in, but I must have forgotten that time. I know how frustrating it is to go back through one's swaps trying to make a match.

Response: More or less :)
Response: If its a reddish background with scratches and glitter, its watercolor crayon on watercolor paper, then brushed heavily with a wet watercolor brush and scratched with the bristles of a hairbrush and some glitter paint spread on thinly. If its some other background, remind me which ones you got. Vee
Response: How kind you are! I just got a swap with a bunch of different handmade swap cards and now I'm feeling like I didn't put enough effort into the cards I sent. One of these days I'll get the hang of what this site is all about -- I hope! Vee
