Comment: Vanessa Williams used to be known as an incredible singer, so when she made a switch to acting (before every singer did that) I was surprised. It turned out though, she's a great actress! The Office (US) has had some great gif sets and memes come from it. I'm glad to live in an era where I can save those to my phone and sum up all hard to express thoughts with a gif.

I have been to St Louis a couple of times but I didn't know about the zoo then. The last few times I went to our zoo they only had the Lenticular cards which are too expensive for my budget.

Comment: Hi Deidre! What a small world SB makes it! I vaguely remember Big Chef but my hubby grew up in NOCO and he remembers it really well! Did they become Burger Chef at some point? Response: Last I checked White Barn was still there, with lines going around the building! It has been a little bit since I was over that way though. And in the same area kind of as Big Chef there is a Chuck-A-Burger that still has the old drive-in feel.

Comment: Did not meet requirements of the swap, and she chose not to resend. 9/27/21 Please do not put words in to my mouth...I never called your art childish. I said it didn't meet the requirements of the swap, which it did not. You told me that you didn't want to resend, to rate you "down". Hence, the 3 rating. It was your choice.
Response: Literal requirements for swap "Your ATC's are sender's choice meaning they can be any theme, and made from any art mediums. You could collage, draw, paint, sew, whatever you want, just no sticker use"
I sent collaged work made from different papers including Kawaii papers and glitter and paint. Was told I used stickers when i didn't and that it made the artwork look childish. Clearly host does not mean it when they say any theme. Didn't want to spend time making something else for them to not enjoy.

Comment: This swap had me getting back into creating ATCs also. Your technique is incredible! I absolutely love the colors and the textured paper you used to do the weaving really makes it pop.
Response: Thank you! I don't have much of that paper left, and I don't think it is made much anymore. I am sure I can find something similar though maybe with a little digging! I love to use it though :)

Comment: Hi! The PC arrived in perfect shape. I can't see anywhere that anything broke off or got scratched or anything. And, I LOVE it!! Did you use a sand texture paste or gel on it? It's so cool. I'm excited to add it to my collection! Thank you!!
Response: I used a Pebeo gel tecture medium in yellow sand and I mixed a little acrylic paint into it. I've used liquitex and golden mediums in the past but I found this Pebeo one on clearance at Michaels recently and had to snatch it up :)

Response: I worked at an art supply store that had gifty things too for a few years and the buyer would always try and get me cute pig stuff in, there is a kitty cat one too, but I had trouble finding it. I stocked up on the little pig ones though before they were gone :)

Response: I work at a local art supply store called Artmart, the papers were handmade though not by me, and were some we have extra sample pieces of, which employees use often as wrappings. The tape came from a variety of places, some was washi tape I've collected here and there the other was a scotch brand patterned tape I got as a sample from our store owner. We unfortunately don't carry it though. Glad you all enjoyed!

Comment: I've been to Saint Louis a few times (my parents go every fall). My father does the wind forecasting for the The Great Forest Park Balloon race, but I've never been to this sculpture park.
Response: It is a great place. They have a museum that is the old house on the grounds that rotates shows, and every Mothers Day Weekend they have a huge art fair! I love the balloon race, and that I can always see the balloons from wherever I am. :)

Was a fan way back, though I haven't heard any of their new stuff, gotta get on that.(My husband would totally make fun of me for that.) It's also weird when you realize you're all grown up, isn't it?
Response: It is a fun time at Hanson concerts lately! All the initial girls that liked them are like over 21 now so it's all a bunch of girls getting a little tipsy and jumping around to pop songs! It's always a fun casual group of people.
