Let's send some small Christmas gifts for our partners to open...and make it a truely special day!

What TO do: Places like the Dollar Tree, Michaels, Target, and Wal-mart, etc have a great selection of $1 gifts! You'll be sending 3 wrapped (in christmas paper) 1$ gifts to your partner! This swap IS Profile Based...so please be aware! The gifts must be things your partner would like based on their profiles:-) Examples: Notecards, pretty socks, candles, stickers, stamps, etc. Storebought/new items only please. Handmade and nicely de-stashed items are only allowed as extras in this swap!

Please NO: Don't send items related to each other...like a pack of pens and some notecards. Send a variety of items in different sizes! Don't just send the smallest flatest items you can cram into a small mailer! No edible items please:-)

Make sure you package your items well to avoid damage in transit. The tighter you package items the better. Loose items in bubble mailers cause them to catch and tear in postal machines!

Requirements TO join:

  • No recent 1's or 3's within the past 6 months! If you have a recent negative rating and would like to join...please PM me BEFORE joining, and I'll be happy to look into it:)

  • A VERY WELL FILLED OUT PROFILE is a must! This is profile based after all:) You need alot of likes/dislikes listed that can be applied to this swap.

  • You must have completed and been rated for atleast 3 type 3 package swaps to participate.

  • You must have logged onto Swap-bot within the past 3 days of when I check profiles for this swap.

This is a Smoking friendly and pet hair friendly swap...so please be aware! Even though this is a profile based swap...if you're allergic senstive or just don't like smoke smells or animal hair please DON'T join...because you CAN'T rate down for this!

I need everyone to make sure they have a good amount of likes/dislikes listed on their profiles for this swap.

That's not so easy to do if say for example...you list alot of music and movies you like, but hardly any smaller cheap items that are easily found. This isn't an expensive swap so please keep that in mind:-) You could always make a temporary list on your profile just for this swap if you want.

Did you remove me from this swap? I went in and put more likes/dislikes as much as I could and sent you a PM to tell you I did. If you did remover me without writing me, kinda rude. Maybe that's why 40NFabulous asked you if you cancelled it. Did you remove her too?

I asked you to please add more 1$ likes/dislikes that could be applied to this swap 5 days before I assigned partners @crazypurplelady . You had not logged in the past couple of days when I assigned partners, and when I re-checked your profile there was still no change so yes you were banned! Was I supposed to just take it on faith that you would get back on and fix up your profile if I allowed you to stay in the swap? I'm afraid I couldn't take that chance.

Just for the record...the above poster who you seem to think was banned from my swap isn't. She was confused over the fact that I'd cancelled a Christmas card swap of mine she was also in. Please get your facts straight.

I've tried to be nice, and I'm sorry it's not enough for you...but I can't please everyone.

There's no point to this...and I honestly don't know why you're keeping this up when I tried to help you and give you a chance. I'm sorry that you felt I should have made a special allowance for you...oh well:(

OK, regardless of what is going on UP ABOVE.. I am happy about this swap... I think it is great.. I hope we don't have any flakers.. and I am thankful that Laynie made this swap for us. If there was any confusion, I hope that it is resolved.. because all this anger is not what Swap Bot is about.. I hope everyone is ok now.. and MERRY CHRISTMAS... it is what it is... let's carry on now...lol
