i'm 28 and a momma. i'm also a fiber artist and painter and and currently going to college for fine arts.

it's been a while since i've participated in a swap, a few years in fact, but i think it'll be fun to do again, i love sending and recieving mail!! (but who doesn't?)

i love to collect, string, buttons, paper, empheria, andthing i can put a story to...and i love to make, i would definitely call myself a maker. currently within my practice i do a lot of sewing and quilting. being pregnant, i haven't been able to do any painting. fibre arts has always been a passion, and this pregnancy has given me the oppertunity to get back to it.

i think comic books are one of the best art forms and now my daughter is getting into them, mostly scrooge mc duck and sabrina the teenaged witch. i think it'll be something we'll be able to share more when she's older. i don't really let her read mine.

old b/w photographs, different types of string/yarn/roving, large unusual stickers,zines and comic books, plant seeds, pressed flowers, old empheria like adverts from old magazines, cigerette cards, or pages from old books. i like non site specific postcards, new types of paper and any kind of tea. oooh, buttons are also a fave. also, anything vintage or antique. mostly i love surprises!
