Response: Wow, you just made me all giddy on a day that I totally needed it (I'm working my way through a nasty nasty cold, boooo). I LOVE making those cards, it's like 4 mini arts in one. Definitely make one, it's a lot less scary then I thought it would be. I've decided to use all the paint/gelli papers that I'm not crazy about and turn them into art cards...something about folding them up makes the backgrounds look totally different and cool. So thrilled that you love it!

Response: Awww yay!! Along with the foreign text (there could be up to 4 different languages on there...I made a masterboard of all the foreign texts I had), I also collaged a few bits of blue, yellow and green origami paper, so those papers turned different colors when I put ink on them. I used distress inks to "paint" the card: Peacock feathers, Mustard Seed, Orange Blossom and I think a bit of Ripe Persimmon too...I just mixed and played with all my yellow and orange inks. To seal and waterproof the postcard I put some Distress Glaze on top of it when I was done, which added a little bit of sheen too :) So glad you loved it!

Comment: Hi Christy :-) . . . Yes! I like your artistamps very much! All 3 of the designs make for great artistamps, and I especially like the Poe stamp, excellent work! If I had a machine I'd like to try free motion embroidery. I used to do hand embroidery but just haven't in a long time. There are so many crafts and types of art I'm interested in, but I can't seem to make time for all of them. I think your "Going Home" stamp came out well, and the Exquisite Corpse is just as weird as it's supposed to be. Thanks very much for your stamps :-)

I'm just going to try embossing powder, I bought a kit last week that was on sale at Michaels including heat gun was only $15! Thanks so much for your nice ATC! I hope the other one finds its way....
Response: Phew! Pumpkin seeds, I totally see it lol. Naw, I used a raindrop stencil and slapped modeling paste over it, then blasted my heat gun on it to make it bubble up. Yay for embossing powder, you're going to be addicted, I love that stuff! FYI, don't be like me and order a big pack of cheap no-name powders off Amazon...invest in the good brands like Ranger or Tim Holtz. Huge difference in quality and they last forever.

Comment: I love the ATC you made for me! One of my (many) favorites of his roles. The background of my ATC (although you couldn't see much of it for all the Robin images) was a Jumanji gameboard. I never though of the quote from the game as being so very fitting for Robin Williams! Thanks for sending it!
Response: So glad you liked it! I had actually printed out a bunch of jumanji images to play around with (since I'm horrible at drawing, boooo), and a jumanji board was the last thing I cut...I ended up liking a more simple look with the quote and robin being the main focus :). I'm totally going to watch the movie again this weekend. Thanks for the heart!
