Comment: I so enjoy hearing from you! Your letter was so uplifting and I felt like I was visiting with a friend. I was so sorry to hear that you and your husband both lost your dads this past year. It's never easy losing a parent. My Mom was gone 29 years on Christmas Day and I still miss her and just talking to her. I, too, keep saying that next year I will be amazingly organized when it comes to the holidays and as soon as December 1st rolls around, it all goes out the window! Comment: A very warm and delightful letter, thank you. I liked how you decorated everything. Like you, things I eat have a time to enjoy it. Only Christmas style cookies during that holiday and Ham only on Easter, with a Turkey blessing our table on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Deviled Eggs are only from Memorial Day - Labor Day, same as baked beans and Lemonade. I grew up where we wouldn't put the heat on in the house till the week of Thanksgiving--no matter how cold it got, you just layered up. I must say my husband does not believe in that, but I still, try to keep it off till end of October (we get snow in that month, so that is kind of hard). Thank you for the extra tuck ins. I have you on my pile to write back. Enjoy the onset of Fall.
