Had a family tragedy that pulled me away from here. But I'm back and trying to build up my ratings

I'm a crafty mom of two teenagers and owned by four cats and a boyfriend. I'm pagan, a celtic shaman and healer. I try to be open minded.

My friends call me a 'hippy goth'.. which means I am a bit of a bohemian and a goth. Depends on my mood.

I have many interests such as art, nature, gardens, books, reading, music, cats, tea, henna, Hello Kitty (love the punk and goth HKs!), movies, online gaming, Eyeore, Tigger, Doctor Who, Emily the Strange, Dead Pool, crochet and handmade things.

I am a big fan of the sci-fi and fantasy genre but I've become slightly hooked on erotic fiction and fantasy romance (ala Laurell K. Hamilton and Maryjanice Davidson) but I'll read anything with a synopsis that catches my attention. I also read a lot of non fiction as I love to learn new things.

I love romantic comedies, action, sci-fi, and fantasy movies. My favorite ones of all time are the Dark Crystal, Nightmare Before Christmas, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Practical Magic.

Huge Doctor Who, Stargate, and Star Trek fan!

Crochet (I crochet a lot!), papermache, polymer clay, henna, jewelry making, paper crafts, candle making, and mixed media paintings.

I've currently developed an interest in Chunky books and traveling notebooks.

I like all kinds of music except for country and rap!

Favorite snack foods and candies: Chocolate, BBQ and sour cream and onion chips, White Cheddar Smart Food (aka white cheddar popcorn), caramel popcorn, chocolate M&M's.

Snack foods and candies or flavors I absolutely hate: Coconut and chocolates with fruit or mint fillings inside them.

NOTE: I am VERY allergic to nuts!

Favorite scents: Sandalwood, pachouli, frankinsence, egyptian musk, Night Magic (Avon)

Things I collect: Hello Kitty (goth/punk style or red themed), milk glass, books, weird stuffed animals and dolls, fabric patches and spoons from places around the world, mixed media art prints and silver charms for my charm bracelet.

Colours/patterns I love: Black, dark red, jewel tones, black and white and black and red stripes, skull and cross bones, halloween-themed, lace, velvet, satin and silk.

Some of my favorite activities and hobbies: I read, write, draw mendhi patterns, listen to music, take long walks with my boyfriend, get together with my friends for a potluck brunch (usually at my house!), cook, bake, do my crafty things, meditate and learn new things.

Kinds of jewellery I wear: I wear silver jewelry as I'm allergic to gold, I also like semi precious stones like moonstone, garnet and amber. I'm also addicted to sapphires.
