I'm half American/British, living and working in Cambridge UK. I left England when I was 5 to live in Switzerland, I have also lived on a yacht and sailed around the Mediterranean and Caribbean, I lived in Beijing for a year and now my parents have finally settled in France.

That's the shorterned version.... confusing I know! I'm always happy to answer questions about it though!

My parents have a Bernese Mountain Dog called Tess (she's adorable) and my cat, Smudge, who is a moody bugger but I love him still, is in France with them.

I LIKE: The countryside (though not right now... hayfever!!) Halloween is my favourite holiday, Autumn my favorite season. Reading, writing, Magazines, books, people watching, taking pictures of things I like, laughing, giggling, watching snow fall, skiing, dinner parties (with people I like), red wine in winter, rose in summer, good music, good films, Cheese, sleeping, strawberries, cherries, lillies, effervescent vitamin C, stories that make me laugh for hours, listening to music for hours on end, driving to nowhere in particular, meeting people who I've felt like I've known my whole life, dreams (aaahhhh), Lakes, waterfalls, Coffee, Lobster, cooking for other people.

Fave colours: Turquoise, greens and blues.

I'm more of a salty than sweet girl (though I wouldn't turn down chocolate, I just can't eat a lot of it as I end up feeling a bit ill)I do love spicy candy like Hot Tamales, also love Jelly Belly's, which are just too expensive over here. Mexican, Italian and French food are the top of my list, I will basically eat anything you give me (I even ate a starfish while I was in China!! before you ask: crunchy then kinda jelly-like)

I think it would be a good idea to mention that I am not at all religious (agnostic) I won't talk about it if you won't! :)

I have a very braod taste in music ranging from 70's rock to Rod Stewart, to Tool and back to things like The Devics. For example... im sitting here at work listening to Prince and Brazilica Lounge!

My Aussie bf has introduced me to some great Australian stuff (though for the life of me I can't remember who the bands/singers are)

I used to be a BIG bookworm but due to work I haven't picked up a book for a while.

I like the Philippa Gregory works on the Tudors (especially Anne Boleyn) Also like conspiracy works such as the Bible Code.

Currently trying to read Suite Francaise. And received a reserved copy of the New Harry Potter book so am looking forward to that! (yep! Potter fan... about a 5 on a scale of 10, so not too fanatical)

French and Art house movies. I'm lucky here in Cambridge as there is an Art House cinema (currently showing 'Water' which I am itching to go see)

Also love the blow-em up movies and comedy, romance types. I love getting lost in film... even if it's something totaly banal.

To the utter desperation of my bf I LOVE Buffy. When I was in china I bought all 7 season box sets and love to watch them in random. Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty... Though I stopped watching them as I ended up missing too many to start again.

Also South Park as I am a bit of a potty mouth! :P

Knitting and sewing. Just learnt to crochet and made some mittens and hat, I find it incredibly relaxing!
