A customer came in to the Post Office where I work and I thought this sounded like fun! I live in a small coastal town in Oregon where there is an abundance of wonderful fresh seafood, and I am five minutes from the ocean. I feel very blessed to live in such a gorgeous area of the country.
I am fairly artistic, and I am just starting to make time for it again after raising two kids. I love calligraphy and oil painting, and I want to get back into knitting and embroidering.
I love to read, and a good book can keep me up all night. I love to cook as well, and used to do so for a living. Of course I am a chocoholic. Raspberry is my most favorite flavor, and I am currently growing red, black and yellow ones in my back yard.
I love both coffee and tea, and I am drinking more tea lately.
As my name implies, I am in the military, having served 24 years in the Air National Guard/USAF Reserves.
I prefer cats to dogs, having had 12 at one time when I lived out in the country. I am down to two at the present time.
My most favorite colors are green, turquoise and purple, although I love them all.
I love old movies. And popcorn is also a bonus. I don't watch much TV anymore (there is too much going on in real life!). I love to travel.

Hi; I have checked and it is prohibited to send coins to Portugal; nevertheless, I have received coins in the past with no problems whatsoever. To my knowledge, it shouldn't pose any kind of problem as long as the coins are well concealed. This said, to my partners, please ignore the prohibition if you may. :)
Thank you for the forwarning. If not everyone recieves their coins due to this problem, I guess we'll have to figure something out or be creative.
I didn't think it be a problem.
Why is that? Perhaps I will just write on the letter suvenior? One of my partners are American.
I don't want people to get a bad rating.
Yes, I understand what you mean. There's this one time where I sent a mail (surface) to Belgium and it took only 9 days! Really surprising.
So far, to US has been okay. But UK is really terrible. It's been more than a month! I try to use air mail as much as possible, like you've said, flat envie, etc.
Thanks so much for your advice and generosity. Good to meet such nice people like you around Swap-Bot!
Maybe we could have a one-on-one swap sometime?
Aww, thank you for being so generous!
We have a few things in common! I prefer cats to dogs as well, and my favourite colour is green!
