About Me

I've been away from this site for some months but look forward to having another go, I live in England with my husband and Lily-the-dog. We have 2 grown-up daughters and one 5 year old grandaughter who we see quite regularly. I did an art college diploma in dress design but don't work in that field any longer but in a library. I still enjoy various crafts though, mainly knitting and wet-felting. I imagine I scrap-book but in fact I just collect the bits. I collect pottery baskets and love vintage items, particularly knitting needles and embroidered cloths. I have an old printer's tray which I am gradually filling with a variety of little things. I love to read abou knitting and the history of the craft. I'm afraid I am partial to chocolate but not white chocolate. I love turkish delight, ginger and coffee. I love roses, the sight and the smell.

Favorite Crafts

Knitting takes first place, feltmaking second. Colours I prefer are plum, green, Teal,deep rose. I prefer natural fibres, especially Alpaca. I really never use eyelash, boucle or other novelty yarns. I collect vintage knitting items and sheep (not real ones)

Comment: Thank you. Unfortunately I don't do scrapbooking or crafting, so the only item that really matched my profile interests was the chocolate, the rest will need to be re-gifted.

The handmade paper album is gorgeous, and I think I'm going to use it as some sort of art journal. I love the textures of it! Thank you also for the bags and bags and bags of crafty goodies - any one of them would have made a lovely pressie, so 3 was a delight! :) You rock!
