Ceramic bead and jewelry artist with major fiber lust. Novice spinner. Novice knitter. I've been happily married since May of 1993 and we have a beautiful and amazingly smart daughter who was born in August of 2004. We share our home with 4 mixed breed shelter cats. We often feel guilty that we're not more interested in home improvement, gardening, etc. I used to love to cook, but our awful kitchen has destroyed that for me.

I don't care for most country or rap, although there are exceptions to any generalization.

Romantic comedies, old black and white, indie films, Anime, etc... Some of my favorite movies include Bell, Book and Candle (Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak), Cinema Paradiso, The Bicycle Thief, The Wickerman (the original), The Professional, Practical Magic, Songcatcher (If you haven't seen it, it is fantastic), The Apartment, The Children's Hour (almost anything with Audrey Hepburn)... I'll stop here because my fingers are getting tired.

BBC America's Mystery Mondays, Robin Hood on BBC America, Law and Order: SVU, Medium, NUMB3RS, 6 Degrees, House, The Closer, The Riches, Mythbusters, The Henry Rollins Show on IFC, The Black Donnoleys...

I also watch a rediculous amount of television with my daughter and enjoy Peep and the Big Wide World, Jack's Big Music Show, Between the Lions, and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch, to name a few.
