I am not participating in swaps, as I have sent out 3 - $20 swaps and not received a thing!!!! I can't believe women would do this to eachother! I have never been so disappointed!

I like vintage images (advertising, books, photos). I'm all about the presentation, so I would love to see things in little boxes or envelopes or wrapped beautifully. I love art supplies and thrift store shopping. I love antiques and found objects. I'm a figurative painter, but love to make cloth dolls, paper stuff, handmade books, and I love images with saturated color (I'm also a photographer). I like french things, old things, things with history that need some love. I'm an avid reader and love. love , love unique children's books with beautiful or creative images like "Charlie and Lola," "Olivia," anything illustrated by Lisbeth Zerger or Lane Smith...and I collect ABC books that are unique/different/special.

Radiohead, Tom Waits, Billie Holiday, Bjork, Pixies, White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Clap Your Hands, Mos Def, Edith Piaf, Mahalia Jackson and a whole bunch more...

I prefer foreign films including "The Quiet Room," "Raise the Red Lantern," "Bleu," and who doesn't love "Amelie"... I also like Michel Gondry's films "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," and "Sciene of Sleep."

I love paper and fabric and vintage stuff!!!!! I'm all about the details, and like anything that someone has put thought and care into! I love delicate little drawings and handmade collage-y things.(I'm NOT crazy about things too scrapbook-y, I prefer altered art type stuff) I also like color themed things, like pink and green, blue and brown, and I love just about anything RED!(Not a fan of purple) Miniature stuff is fun too...how can anyting tiny not be cute?
