****** I AM TOTALLY FED UP WITH MAIL AT THE MOMENT. EVER SINCE I STARTED USING CUSTOMS FORMS MY MAIL SEEMS TO BE DISAPPEARING. I THINK THIS IS DUE TO THE CONTENTS BEING DESCRIBED AND A COST ESTIMATION BEING VISIBLE. I AM NOW GOING TO PUT "HAND-CRAFTED ITEMS" AND A COST ESTIMATION AS 1GBP. SO PLEASE DONT BE OFFENDED AND THINK MY COST OF 1 GBP MEANS THAT I DONT VALUE THE CONTENTS. I ADORE CRAFTING IT RELAXES ME LIKE NOTHING ELSE CAN COME CLOSE TO. I JUST THINK BEING A LITTLE MORE SKETCHY WITH THE INFO ON THE CUSTOMS FORM WILL ENSURE NOBODY DECIDES TO FILCH MY PACKAGES!
HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE SOMETHING FROM ME DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME, I HAVE NO ISSUE WHATSOEVER WITH RE-SENDING. THE SAME AMOUNT OF LOVE AND CARE WILL GO INTO THE RESEND AS IT DID THE ORIGINAL ******
Please let me know ASAP if you have not received from me and i will re-send ASAP. I appreciate the communication, and i will endeavor to do the same if I do not receive from you!!
If I haven't rated you, then I probably haven't received the swap. I aim to rate as soon as possible from receiving your swap and admiring the awesome contents :) I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ANY 1'S OR 3'S OUT, SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM JUST LET ME KNOW SO I DON'T THINK YOU'VE DONE A RUNNER LOL! I know my swaps that I send out can take upto 4 weeks to be received internationally, sometimes it's a lot less, I guess it depends if I have upset the mighty mail god the day I post them.
Hi, I'm Emma, and I live in the UK in North-East England. I am a leo, and a typical one at that. I love sleeping in, especially when I'm all snuggled up with my little boy, who loves cuddles as much as I do. My little girl isn't into cuddles, she'd rather be out playing on her bike, or crafting (using MY craft stash!). My Daughter is Livvy (Olivia), and she's 6 years old. My Son is Joshy (Joshua) and is 8 years old. I have a really bad temper and am soooooooooooo cranky on a morning, although after a few strong cups of tea I come around. I love crafting, I find it relaxing and rewarding. My other half likens craft stores to church for me, as every sunday is a must and theres usually a midweek visit too! Sometimes I'll make stuff with no intended recipient, and it ends up in my "stuff" box. I've joined swap-bot so that i'll have some purpose to some of my projects.
Crochet was my main craft, but since joining swapbot im into atc's and papercrafting a lot. I have an ATC collection which I've received via swaps, and a few different themed collections I've made myself. I love making bookmarks, and as an avid reader like to use them as well as collect. Shrink plastic is totally awesome and makes for fab keyring charms, bag charms, phone charms....er charms??? I also like making embellishments with it to add to my atc's.
I've started collecting books A4 or larger to make envelopes with. Books that are pictorial with thicker pages are working really well for me. I used to be against defacing ANY book and would really scold my children for doing to books what I now do. However I have a huge medicine encyclopedia book printed around 1970, it details medicinal practices and "cures" from the years 300-1790. Some parts are gruesome, but the way they are depicted detracts from this and makes it more comical than bloody. I have recently purchased a Sherlock Holmes history in pictures book, NASA - The Space Journey and a Famous artists and their achievements book. I am really looking forward to using the content of these on my ATC's and as envelopes. I'm also collecting A4 sheet music or sheet music books. I've just completed a swap for handmade envies and the effect of the sheet music is awesome. I recently bought some music books that were printed in the 1920's. They have a lovely aged look and the envies look fab when they're ready to post.
I like to try new crafts. The only problem with that is I tend to go and buy almost everything I would need for that particular craft, and if I dont like it then im stuck with a bunch of stuff i have no use for.
I've recently been carving my own stamps from erasers, they are quite basic but effective. I love the one I have made with my username that I can stamp on labels or envies that im sending a swap out in.
I assumed that because I could sew my crocheted items together, use the sewing machine for a papercraft project with great results and attach buttons to anything I needed to I would be super at sewing anything else, turns out it's harder than it looks, but I've improved lately and am quite confident now.
This is some of the stuff I just cant stop buying, even though I probably should use the stuff I already have. Also an Idea of the type of things I like to have in my stash or stuff I collect.
KAWAII -I especially love lettersets and med/large memo sheets, but I would welcome Kawaii of anything! If your a Kawaii stasher and you get me as a partner for something profiley related, you cant go wrong with stuffing a bunch of kawaii in an envelope (carefully of course!!)!!!!
I'm not really fussy when it comes to colours, although I adore rich Jewel tones
Woodland creatures theme
ANYTHING with an owl theme or owl picture
I love ladybirds :)
Unicorns - Its so fluffy im gonna die........(I love despicable me)
amigurumi patterns
Items with a fantasy / supernatural feel to them
Cute monsters/or gruesomely cute monsters
pretty stationary / notecards
ATC sized bits of paper are OK as this is what I use most of my paper stash on anyway.
itty-bitty hand-drawn illustrations
Washi/Deco tape / stickers (not reward stickers, me and my kids have a ton of these, and they could be well behaved for the next 3 lifetimes and we'd still have too many!)
I do like cutesy/adorable type things, especially weirdly cute or something a little wacky!
I love embellishments - brads and ribbon in dark purples/reds and blues are cool
my kiddos love candy, I don't think we've found a type they aren't fond of!
I love making christmas cards and tend to lean towards two looks adorable or contemporary.
Lastly, I'm allergic to PASSION FRUIT and I don't like liquorice.
ONE CRAFTERS TRASH IS ANOTHER CRAFTERS TREASURE.
DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO.
BECAUSE I SAID SO....
BILLS TRAVEL THROUGH THE MAIL SYSTEM AT TWICE THE SPEED OF SWAPS.
THERE ARE VERY FEW PROBLEMS THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED BY ORDERS ENDING WITH "OR DIE" - ALISTAIR J.R YOUNG

Hello. I sent you a PM a week ago asking about re-sending a swap. I see you haven't been online but I'd really like to communicate about this. If I haven't heard from you by the 27th I will be forced to leave you a one rating since I have not received it yet. I don't want to do this since you originally contacted me about doing a resend, but you have now stopped communicating. Please get back to me soon!
