About Me

I am recently retired and now have the time to truly stop and "smell the roses"! I was diagnosed with both breast and kidney cancers eleven years ago. What an adventure that was! Early detection saved my life and I have much to be thankful for. I am a fan of unique and antique items. More often than not I will find something interesting at an antique mall, flea market, or garage sale that will call out to me. I've purchased a multitude of dustable "treasures" that way. I enjoy decorating for all holidays, but Halloween is my favorite. I like to do counted cross stitch on aged linen using reproduction sampler patterns and/or primitive charts.
