Hi, I'm Nona and I'm really bad at talking about myself so this whole profile thing is a work in progress.
I've recently turned 42. I've been married for 20(ish) years and we have 2 kids (boys aged 9 and 13).
I also share my home with a dog (Oscar), a cat (Olivia the Evil Queen) who wants me dead, and some fish, including goldfish, cory cats and bettas.
I work full time at a craft store, take hours long baths during which I get some reading done, and I'm hopelessly addicted to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
I enjoy making simple jewelry, and working in my art journals. Collage/mix media/found poetry is what I mostly do. With a good bit of gluebooking.
Currently trying to learn to crochet via youtube and....I'm not that good at it.
Right now I'm loving the Goblincore/Crowcore aesthetic. Cottagecore...but more dirt? Mushroom and snails make me happy. I will pick shiny things off the street because they are shiny. Same with natural items like pretty leaves, random acorns/pinecones, etc.
I hoard craft supplies.
Stickers, Washi, gluesticks, wax seals, paper, notebooks, blank journals.
My aesthetics are very eclectic and all blend together Goblincore, cottagecore, Boho, Hippie, Witchy And kind of like the "Garbage" Goblin from The Labyrinth.
Princess vibes
Anything pink super girly.
Romance and anything romantic.

Aggressively Religious
I'm read an odd mix of horror novels alongside Shifter/paranormal romance. Mostly horror though.
I've read, and own, everything by Stephen King. My favorite King novel is "Desperation."
I also love Dean Koontz. I have tied favorites between "Phantoms" and "The Taking" for him.
Other favorite books are: Vampire$ by John Steakley She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb Feed, Newsflesh and Blackout by Mira Grant The Traveling Vampire Show by Richard Laymon And I've never not loved anything I've read by Grady Hendrix.
Recently discovered a comic called "Something's Killing the Children" that is basically the only graphic story I've manged to read more than a couple of pages of.
I love to Cross stitch even though I never have time to do it anymore.
I enjoy working in art journals and making mixed media canvases. I like altered books as well.
I like scrapbook supplies even though I don't scrapbook. I use them in my art journals and such.
I'm into simple jewelry making. Bracelets and earrings and a few necklaces. I'm still learning there.
I like doing "kids" crafts too.
These things shared here are a lot of my older art. I'll have to stop being lazy and put up some new stuff soon.
