I am a left-handed Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Empty Nester, do-it-yourselfer, and Native Texan. My days get filled in a wide variety of ways. I read lots. Mostly I enjoy reading romance, spirituality, craft, sewing and cookbooks. Anytime I am sitting, one of our three cats will be on my lap. Other hobbies besides crafts and sewing include golf, yoga, surfing the web, and fighting clutter in my house.

Age-wise I'll just say I'm nearing 50. I recycle, reuse, and try to find new ways every day to be a good steward of our planet. What I want from swap-bot is an outlet for my creativity and feedback on my creations.

I love receiving just about anything handmade. I especially enjoy things that are useful and that won't need dusting. My style is vintage. Favorite design lines include Anthropologie and Martha Stewart.

My first love is paper crafts; scrapbooking and card making. I love craft sewing and also will make a garment now and then. I enjoy small quilting projects and other needlework. I knit and crochet only a little bit.
