I am a crafty SAHM who dabbles in trying to make money. I sew on my vintage Singer, which can often be an absolute obsession. I have a few too many hulking cast iron sewing machines in need of repair. I love my old Singer treadle machine and can sew just about as fast on it as on a modern machine (plastic sucks, go for the old!) I love history. My family participates in War of 1812/Napoleonic reenactments. Right now I am working on a community garden plot (even though I have a huge garden in my backyard) and I love getting my hands DIRTY!

sewing useful objects, Spinning wool and flax on wheel and hand spindle, dyeing and carding wool, attempting to weave (ha!), working on old sewing machines.

We don't have TV reception in our house and I refuse to have cable, so we watch movies and an occasional online movie.

I love Sci-Fi, Asian historical fiction, history books and craft crap.
