I was gone for a while, recovering from the death of my dad but things are looking up and I'm getting myself together :)
I am at stay at home mom and I homeschool my 9 year old daughter. I have recently opened up a website selling kawaii items.
I love making things and sharing them with others. I like handmade cards, Hello Kitty, anything kawaii...and basically am open to trading/swapping for just about anything.
My favorite colors are pink and brown, I love cupcakes, I am an avid reader (mostly horror/thrillers, biographies, and some sci-fi). I am also a magazine junkie, especially cooking or crafting ones. I have three kitties at home so of course I am a fan of anything feline. Chocolate is a weakness. I have a knack for taking things that people don't want and making something creative with it so if you want to destash some supplies...look no further :)
I just finished one of the most amazing books: Jitterbug Juice by Tom Robbins. It is about a man's fear of death and his search for immortality. Very interesting. I don't know if there are any Dexter fans out there but the books are highly recommended. They are different in some very unique ways from the actual tv show.
Other than that, I like to read biographies and history books, and crime novels. The latest book I bought was for my husband..."400 random facts about Chuck Norris" There is no end to the laughter in our house when we break out that book and read quotes to one another.
My favorite crafts are working with polymer clay. I like to make charms and other cute things with it. Right now I am working on an underwater scene that is my first art piece. It has been really challenging so far.
My newest thing is making bath bombs and cupcake bath fizzes. There are so many yummy combinations. I opened up a shop on Etsy selling these but honestly, I have mainly been sharing them in trades with other shop owners on Etsy. I like to spread the love and I have a thing for cupcakes in a most serious way.
I have been searching blogs for new crafting ideas. I am dabbling in making cards with all sorts of embellishments and glitters. I have been working on making soaps and candles also. I'd like to get in to stamping a little bit more because the possibilities seem endless.
I have made a few bars of M&P soap and finally found a soap making class in my area for march. I'm really excited over that. I am also curious about candle making. I always have pretty candles burning at home (much to the fear of my husband who worries endlessly about the house burning down). I am a good girl and blow them out whenever I leave the house or when we go to bed at night.
I love baking also. I took 3 Wilton Cake Decorating classes and found them to be super fun. I am the one that usually bakes for other people's parties and the neighborhood kids love to congregate here because I am known for making brownies or cookies on the fly for hungry little mouths.
I am still a newlywed. I married the most kind, fun, and handsome man ever. He is my best friend. I am also now a mommy to a beautiful little 9 year old girl. This is our second year homeschooling, which has been an adventure into itself. We decided to homeschool because she was bored in her honors classes and ended up helping the other kids instead of learning so we decided to try homeschooling so that she would get a broader education. Luckily there is a great homeschool group around here and lots of activities for her to do.
I live in the sunny state of Florida and we have season passes to Disney and Universal so we go every chance we get. We also are about 10 minutes from the beach so if anyone has a wish for some Florida seashells, let me know..I have plenty to share.
I am still a kid at heart so I guess that explains my obsession with Hello Kitty and also with kawaii items that have smiley faces on them. Admit it, everything looks better with a little smile. I have discovered the world of Rilakkuma, squishies, memo sheets, cute envelopes, etc.
I love stickers, scrapbook supplies, pretty paper for handmade cards, and basically anything that is just adorably cute.
I love trading/swapping and I love to get mail that is something other than junk or bills. I like to bring smiles to others and make things for people.
My favorite character ever is Lenore. She was created by Roman Dirge. She would be classified in the dead/cute arena. I love dark and creepy things also so...I guess she fits right in there. You should check her out!
Some of my favorite things are.... anything pink *Rilakkuma and gang *anything cupcake *glitter *pretty paper polymer clay stamps *postcards *Sanrio characters: especially Hello Kitty, Batzmaru and Chococat *San-X *Kawaii Memo sheets and envelopes *Squishies *Any kawaii items that are food with smiley faces on them *any bath products *stickers of any kind *homemade things *Miniatures *recipes

Just saw your rating for me on the Random Envie Swap. I strive for 'over the top' on every swap I do and that you didn't rate w/ a heart means that I disappointed you. As a learning tool, please tell me what I could've done better. Actually, I'd love to redo the swap, if I knew what would please you. Thanks for your thoughts!
Pretty much open to anything. It doesn't have to be extravagant, they were sitting in my garage and I would be happy to send something that would bring a smile to your little boy's face. I'm open to anything dark, gothic, or otherwise.
Diddy Kong Racing and the Zelda game are the ones I'm interested in. What are you wanting to swap for them?
I have: Iggy's Reckin Balls, Dr. Mario 64, Hey You Pikachu, Rugrats Paris the Movie, Mini Machines 64 Turbo, The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, Tigger's Honey Hunt, Banjotooie, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, Mischief Makers, Rugrats Scavenger Hunt, Diddy Kong Racing.
what games do you have?
