I AM TRAVELING AND IN A DIFF CITY EVERY DAY. I HAVE BEEN CARRYING EVERYTHING AROUND WITH ME AND JUST NOW WAS ABLE TO BE SOMEWHERE TO GET ONLINE AND GET ADDRESSES. THIS MEANS THAT EVERYTHING CAN GO IN THE MAIL AS SOON AS I LOCATE A POST OFFICE.
SORRY, I THOUGHT I WOULD ENCOUNTER THE INTERNET EARLIER ON THIS ADVENTURE.
I WILL TRY TO CONNECT AGAIN AND SEND EVERYONE A PERSONAL MESSAGE!
i am a freak for music, books, art and oddities.
currently i am most psyched about the kickball team i just started...we have our first official game this sunday!!!!!
i was a seamstress...am getting on that path again after a hiatus in the social service arena.
i was inspired by Beverly Cleary (i know, i know) to move to portland and after over 20 years in the south i love the northwest more than i could ever imagine.
i have a distaste for the aesthetics of capital letters, the smells of peppermint and juicy fruit, as well as denim fabric. i still love comics and am not very good at keeping plants alive.
i paint, sew, color, and collage. i have recently started making little itty-bitty concrete tiles to separate my shrubbery from my grass and am happiest when i am making something.
music: sonic youth is my all time favorite. really though, anything goes, but i am NOT a fan of contemporary country...i do like bluegrass and folk though...i love getting to mosh at a great punk show, live for skanking to fabulous ska, but enjoy anything from light and poppy (ben lee) to dark and sinister (old skinny puppy)...it is hard to go wrong here, unless the music is bad...because i have no tolerance for bad music(this excludes novelties like har mar superstar)...
books: i am a snob who is opening up...i like classics, books from WWII italy and the literature that defines the transition of WWII japan. i also like comics. i am happiest reading theology and sociology

Did you receive my RETRO ATC swap? Just checking...
I never got a rating when I sent you the Asian ATC's. I really worked hard on those three ATC's. You never responded since last month mid. Oct. from any of the e-mails I sent to u. stephanie (solarts)
Did you send me a B is for Bambi card? I got one with no return address or name. Roxy
you should totally read Paco Ignacio Taibo II's books.. they're about Nazis in Mexico and Argentina. I love the lyricism in his works, even in the translations. (they're originally in spanish) I get so lost in the language I forget the plot. I don't care about the plot, I just love reading them.
