Hi! My name is Ann Marie and I live in Melbourne Australia. I am lucky enough to be loved by my husband and two children. I am a SAHM (or a mum on long service leave from my job!) and really enjoy being a "housewife". Just love it! Baking would probably be my favourite thing besides craft.

I am interested in all crafts with the exception of scrapbooking and doing more with less ie. enjoying the little things and a simple lifestyle.

Sewing, Knitting, Crochet everything but Scrapbooking! Am obsessed with knitting dishcloths, making aprons and softies. I also make my own soap, moisturiser, bath salts, washing powder etc.

I love collecting anything vintage ie. buttons, pincushions, laces and trims, fabric. I also love paper and hand embroidered kitchen towels. I have some my grandmother made before she was married in the late 1930s.

I have very eclectic taste when it comes to music. I love everything from Bob Dylan to Leo Sayer (yes, I know)...

I love learning to make things, natural products such as shampoo, soap etc. Not a big fan of makeup or any commercial synthetic products.

I love the idea of passing family heirlooms down through the generations. I particularly love old recipes.

I like to be as thrifty as possible (not mean). I find that there is still heaps to give especially in the way of handmade items. There is something special about making clothes out of something vintage or preloved.

I LOVE Souvenir Tea (Kitchen) Towels and plan to host a swap of these shortly as I think it would be so cool to have tea towels from all over the world.
