UPDATE 3/15/10! I've obviously really made some people quite angry for my non-action here on Swap-Bot. I am apologizing for that, and I am also sorry that I will not be able to follow through on the swaps that I have not yet sent. Two exceptions are the self-paper doll swap -- I will send the two dolls I have in hand now to the next person, and you can do what you like with mine. Burn it at the stake if you like, I won't blame you -- and the one Frida Christmas ornament I owe someone on Flickr. That's all I can do, I am sorry.

What's prompting this is that I am now getting harassed at other places I am located on the internet, which I am sorry, but I don't think is cool. Someone actually sent a message on Twitter to my boyfriend -- all that did was swear me off things like this forever. I know, you're glad. The reality is that I am now working 60-80 hours per week (including my studio time preparing for exhibitions) and just don't have the time to do this anymore.

Thanks to you who showed concern for me in your messages... I was truly touched by your kindness. I'm so sorry that I let you down. I ended up being a class A flaker here on S-B. It's not something I set out to do, believe me.

Response: I'm sorry you don't like the ornament... I've had a few people request a trade for one on Flickr! Actually, quite a lot of work went into that ornament, just so you might feel less jilted. I chose that image of Frida Kahlo, and in Photoshop selectively colored the image. Then, I printed them out on gloss cardstock, adhered each to colored Canson paper (a nice artist's paper), inserting the looped thread, then finally carefully cutting each ornament out -- this took some skill and time to do nicely, especially with the layered papers! Then, I assembled rubber stamp type to say "Feliz Navidad" (again, time consuming) and stamped each one. Again, I am sorry that you are unhappy with it. I know it was late, but I did update my status on my profile page here as well as on the swap page. Enjoy your holidays.

Hello, I just wanted to note that you were in a swap, 'Warm My Heart" hot coca and mug swap. And you have not been ratted for this swap. Your partner as flaked on her swap and did not rate you when she recivied your package. I am sure you should have gotten a 5 and more than likely a heart too. I know this will not lake up fornot being ratted but i just want you to know that i appreacite that you sent your package and that you should have been ratted. <3<3<3<3<3 's for you!!
