My name is Carly and I am 27. I am newly married and I am a cook in a nursing home. I live in the woods of northern Maine with my husband and our cat "Kitty."
I like most music but I really enjoy classic rock, rock, folk, punk, indie rock, etc.
I love to knit and crochet. I usually have quite a few projects going at once - mostly scarves, dish clothes and blankets (straight things!). I also like to do some beading and make jewelry, mostly earrings. I think making things with your own hands is rewarding especially if it is for someone else because it means so much more than going out to the store and just buying something.
I LOVE to cook! As I said earlier I'm going back to school for culinary arts and I am very excited. I'm not so much into baking, but I love to make food that is delicious and anybody can enjoy. Nothing too fancy or anything that looks too complicated or too pretty to eat. My only allergies are gluten which i discovered last year.
I love tea! I drink tea everyday and its how I start my mornings. I drink black tea every morning and green and white teas during the day. I like herbal tea at night to help me wind down. I like all kinds of black tea, earl grey especially, chai and different types of black tea. I like all green and white teas except anything with a lot of jasmine. I also like all kinds herbal teas.
I buy organic loose tea for myself, but swapping tea bags is a great way to try new teas and flavors :)
My favorite brand of tea is Two Leaves Tea and I also like Tea Forte, Tazo, Stash, Yogi, anything organic, but I love trying new brands and flavors!
