Hi, if you do not receive anything from me - please message me and I'll happily resend.
I live in the UK and love to receive happy mail, though I used to have many penpals when I was younger (from the age of 9 after a school exchange in France) I no longer have been snailmailing with these friends. We are still connected through digital but it's not the same.
As well as joining Swapbot, I use postcrossing as I love collecting postcards.
I have a 2 children, a small dog (Yorkipoo), married and run a small business, so I use my spare time wisely. Part of this is to be creative mainly for my own wellbeing. I also love to make gifts for friends and family.
My favourite things to do: charity shopping, antiques shopping and being out in the fresh air. I moved from a big city to the countryside a few years ago and haven't regretted it. Nature and the environment are so important to me. I love anything to do with animals, plants, ocean and also space etc.
THINGS I LOVE:
Feeling like someone has really read my profile and made an effort when sending something to me.
Crystals (Glastonbury, the town, is one of my most favourite places to visit), floral anything, wildlife, Scandinavian culture (I am currently learning Danish), typography, vintage and antiques, bright colours, nightsky, the seasonal changes, art, handmade and eco-friendly.
My favourite wildlife: Lemurs, dolphins, pandas, tigers, highland cattle, bees, butterflies, elephants, giraffes and hedgehogs.
Postage Stamps: I particularly like ones with birds, flowers and animals in general. I have recently started a collection from Scandinavian countries (Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland). I will be happy with anything though and just enjoy adding to my collection.
Food: I eat most things or my husband will eat it if I don't! I particularly like cherry flavours. But am happy to try anything.
WHAT NOT TO SEND: When it comes to things I'd like to receive, I am open to most things though please NO nudes, political or organised religion items. This is just not my thing.
I love to read, when I can. My favourites are the classics like Jane Austen, Tolkien but also modern authors like Phillip Pullman, Jasper Fford and Aaron Aarovitch.
Basically I love a book with good character building and plotline. I do love a good trashy romance novel when I travel but I also love to read about history. My best read is Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom.

I thought the swap was to leave a message in the comments section but I guess I was wrong. You've got mail!
