Welcome! Just a couple of my feelings about swapbot:

2. I am grateful for ratings! I LOVE to know that you received something, and that you LOVED it (if you did, and gave me a heart!) If you didn't love it, that's ok too. I'd love feedback tho if you didn't (I believe feedback is healthy, and makes us better in the end!)

3. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED SOMETHING! I ALWAYS send out my swaps, and always on time. If i was running late, I would let you know. If you haven't received it, it was likely lost in the mail and I'd be HAPPY to resend!

4. I have learned to approach all swaps with this in mind: Give to give, not to receive in return. I think it's something to live by actually!

5. I like to remember that in the end, it's only "stuff". I would swap kindness for "stuff" any day of the week!

Hi! I'm Sandie. I'm live in Huntington Beach with my mom...my dad passed away in Dec2018, so I've been living with her since. I am a single gal with 2 furbabies (the love of my life, my dog Tulip, who is pictured below...isn't she the cutest!?!?! LOL!...and my fat cat Miny, short for Minerva, who isn't very nice LOL!), and 3 jumping spider pets: Pearl, Timmy, and Canela. I LOVE anything dog related, or anything with octopuses or bees or jumping spiders. I have several bee tattoos, and will be getting an octopus one soon too :) I also love travel, and I try to go somewhere every couple months. Of course, travel has been on hold since COVID-19 hit, and I am JONESING TO GO SOMEWHERE!!! LOL!

I LOVE art of any kind. Fine art, crafts, music, dance, performance....anything! I was raised in a family that valued creativity. My mother was a fine artist by hobby, and a graphic artist by trade. My father was a woodworker. My sister is a ceramic artist, plus she teaches ceramics at the college level, too!. I'm the only one that doesn't work in a creative field! (kinda sad for me!!! LOL) I LOVE to make things tho. I have dabbled in photography, painting, metalsmithing, fiber arts, paper arts, etc etc etc. I have SO MANY art supplies, I thought it would be fun to swap some with ya'll! My current obsession is paper arts, and i'm brimming with old books, old paper, and ephemera! I've been making junk journals, and analog type correspondence. I just love it! and I'm growing a quite impressive collection of washi tapes (teeheehee!)...my preference is for florals, vintage'y looking designs, and abstracts. I've been on a sewing kick too! I've started using scrap fabric to make all types of pouches. My mom, sister, and I made 4 t-shirt quilts with my dad's old t-shirts, and I've been going CRAZY with the scraps! I need to start an etsy shop to deal with the stuff I've been making! LOL!

I love dogs (and all animals really)...I love octopuses...I love bees...I love jumping spiders...I love vintage design (from victorian to 70's retro)...I love old paper...I love fabric (especially groovy vintage prints!)...I love watercolor paintings...I love shiny nail polish!...I love heart shaped things...I love anatomical hearts too!...I love hand illustrated drawings and paintings of nature (bugs/birds/animals/trees/flowers) and of architecture...tulips, hydrangeas, peonies, and pansies are my favorite flowers...I love science illustrations....I love old book covers...I love handmade rubber stamps...I LOVE anything handmade really...i love recycling trash for different purposes...I love craft beer and wine...I love YELLOW..I love washi tape and stickers (EXCEPT tape with words, holiday or religious themes) and i subscribe to all 3 stickii monthly subs! i'm addicted!...I love milk chocolate with nuts (or caramel)...I love valentines day...I love kawaii...I've recently started collecting mid-century typewriters, so your label is probably typed on one!

I have a heart condition, so I can't drink too much caffeine. I prefer fruit teas and teas that have caramel notes (flavor wise), but i appreciate any type of herbal or decaf tea! However, if you only have regular old caffeinated tea, that's fine! I can send it on to someone else in my next tea swap!

I don't care to see political views on profiles. Keep in mind that there is a WORLD of people out there that may or may not agree with you, and by being openly unwavering on views that someone may not agree with you on, you're putting people in a bad position when they have to graciously send you something nice. Saying "that's all i'll say" or "it's my right!" doesn't change that. So, how about just don't even put it on your profile in the first place! :)

Not a fan of hard candies, or anything that gets stuck in my teeth. I'm not particular to modern country music (but I love ol' hillbilly type stuff and bluegrass!).

Although I love washi and stickers, I'm not a fan of either with words or holiday washi tape/stickers. I prefer florals, vintage designs, abstract art.

I am not religious, but don’t mind beautiful religious symbols and architecture (just don’t try to sell me:-) But really, if I get something I cannot use, I just pass it on (i stole this from another swap-bot user because i think she just worded it beautifully!)
