Currently I've been making a lot of winter scarfs (I know its 90 something degrees outside!) my son and getting ready for craft fairs (and Christmas gifts for kids!) These are coming out SOOOO cool (I'm making a cookie monster one that is like one I saw on craftster.org! look up crochet cookie monster scarf and you will see it! but its completely inspired me!) I'm also making a lot of felt food, blankets, and of course cards/scrapbooking! :)
I am a stay at home mom to a 6 year old boy. (my son ROCKS!!!) I’ve always been ‘crafty’, but last year I decided to make all of my own gifts (I’ve always made my own cards), and thus my obsession began. I started out making a list of what everyone was going to get and the list grew, and grew and GREW. So I made it all! But I didn’t want to give it all as gifts (what would I give them next year?) So I signed up for a craft fair and sold out! I love it! So I craft most of the day, everyday and I love it! Someday I’ll have my own store! :)
I love anything I can dance to!! (My son and I dance around the house all the time when my husband is not home! I'd die of embarassment if he saw some of my 'famous dance moves' as my son puts it!) I also like rock and country. I'm in my early-mid (I'm not ready to admit the mid part yet!) 20's so mostly new stuff!
I love to read! Right now I am reading the Memory Keeper's Daughter. I also read the Bible daily (very important kids!) :) But my most used books are Martha Stewarts encyclopedias - her craft encyclopedia and cupcake encyclopedia. Who doesn't love cupcakes?
HANDS DOWN Breakfast at Tiffanys. I love Audrey Hepburn. But honestly in the past 6 years I havent really watched adult movies - mostly Disney. That and Veggie Tales.
I am a reality tv junkie. If it's reality I'll watch it. Although...the reality shows are usually so far from reality...ironic isn't it?

Oh my goodness! How lucky! She gave them to you for free?.. that's amazing, I'm happy to get a pattern for $10! I bought three today to make some little boys clothes, I'm super excited about them. :)
Thank you! :) I'm SO excited for your swap... I can't wait for it to start. That's awesome! I always stop and look at the vintage vogue patterns when i'm at the store - but i refuse to buy them because they're so expensive... that's why i'm learning pattern making and draping! lol
Amanda-- Don't worry about it at all! It's not a big deal--actually it probably wasn't the weight but rather the thickness of the card that sent it over. They have so many silly regulations about all of that anymore! Really don't worry about it! I'm just happy to have received it! Michelle
