I am a grandmother of two cute little boys and the mother to three adult sons, of which two are twins.

I am a fan of the golden oldies and this includes before my time - the '50's. That kind of music is easy to dance to and no one is yelling at the audience (like rap). :) I am a Motown lover from way back because that's what I grew up on and it was always the best songs with words that made sense and had a story to love.

I love mysteries (Agatha Christie, etc.). I love all of John Grisham's novels except the stupid one about baseball (he must have been tired of thinking of legal worthy plots). Lawrence Sanders is a favorite (the "sin" series were great). Maya Angelou is my all time heroine because of a book I read in 5th grade that made me the class favorite - the kids all loved my oratory expressions.

My husband and I try to get to the theaters often to take in the whole IMAX sound and visual big screen feel - not to mention the popcorn. I loved Avatar (love 3D), romance and real plot lines with depth - not some of the stupid crap that's out there today. Even though I don't have kidlets at home, I loved Monsters, Inc., Coraline, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, all of Shrek, and the Disney classics.

I really don't watch a lot of television because there doesn't seem to be any real shows on out there. I do watch reruns of Perry Mason and I Love Lucy (can't go wrong there). But I watch Food Network because I like to cook. I watch the old Law & Order reruns; Forensic Files, HGTV, some of the court shoes like Judge Mathis, Judge Judy (my fav). Otherwise, I use the television to put me to sleep.

Of course my all time favorite craft is paper crafting like scrap booking, mini albums, tags, ATC's, greeting cards and lots of boxes and gift bags. I also crochet from time to time (when I'm not making cards, which I do daily). I still want to learn to knit with a machine - know the basic knitting (made a vest for my boys when they were little). I also sew and other crafts when I feel like it. I like joining in swaps and making new friends as well as sharing my creativity with others.

I like butterflies, teddy bears, all things scrap booking and paper crafts. My favorite colors are blue, pink yellow and purple, with blue my number one choice. I love flowers and vintage photos. I like scented candles. I like magnets, ATC's (new at this), all sorts of crafty stuff to make crafty goodies. More likes: Journal books, cool pens, pretty paper, and ribbon.

My dislikes are few. I really dislike people who get involved in swaps and do not follow through on their commitment. If you sign up to do something (no matter what it is), do it and at least do it GOOD!

Please note that I am NOT a flake. I will always send my swaps, as I am committed to all of the things I sign up for. I have had someone flake on me in my first swap here but the wonderful organizer sent me a beautiful package to make up for it. She's awesome! I believe in communicating to the fullest and hope that you would contact me if you do not receive anything from me. I will always do my best to send you the best of my crafting or something specific to your profile because I want you to be happy and have a good swap. :-)

Update: If you don't think my package deserved a rating, at least let me know why. I've had a few people ignore my e-mails asking if they received their package (I know they did because I always do signature confirmation). This really puts a damper on swapping - it's like they got into the swap just to get the goodies.
