Hello!

By day I'm a receptionist at a veterinary clinic. After hours, I'm a writer (fiction, poetry), artist (clay, paint, sketching), cook (all kinds of food! :) )and palmreader. :) I have a wonderful transgender f2m fiance, Ty, an awesome little sister, Ruthie, and a funny future family-in-law,- all of whom I love to death. :) I'm a free-spirited hippy-esque scatterbrained feminist. :D I love to go hiking, I run around barefoot all summer and I love to play outside. I think nature is beautiful. :)

Oh, I love old rock and roll, like John Cougar Mellencamp, Hootie and the Blowfish, etc. I love Carlos Santana, Mellisa Etheridge, KD Lang, Sophie B. Hawkins, the Athens Boys (a cappella group) and more! I grew up steeped in rock and roll (my dad plays in a rockband!) :)

I have a library. I love books on feminism, women's biology, LGBT rights. I love Barbra Kingsolver, Pat(rick) Califia, Les Feinburg,- you name it. :) I love reading.

I am suffering an aCUTE attack! Those little matchbox critters are so darn cute! :) I love clay, handbuilding and throwing. I love acrylic and watercolor paint, grapite and charcol sketching, chalk and oil sticks, etc. I love collaging, a little sewing, altered books... I love everything. I love to see the work of other artists,- it's so inspirational!

I love talking to people. I love being gay. I love learning about who they are, where they came from. I love babies. I love artwork from all over the world. I love to cook indian cuisine. I love cooking exotic desserts. I love stickers! I love animals. I love nature. I love teeny tiny boxes. I love secrets. I love nighttime. I secretly love "altered Barbies". I love reading old poetry. I love reading brand-new poetry. I love anything infused with mango or pomegranite. I love reds and purples and blues. I love stuffed animals. I love being me. I love to see other people be themselves too! I LOVE love love rainbows/pride stuff!

Dislikes...

Kawaii is cute, yes, but although I'm a fan of cute, kawaii is not my thing. I don't like disney characters, or anything else animated for that matter. I don't like any candy other than chocolate. I don't like coffee or very many teas. I don't like neon. I don't like "crafty", I like "artistic". I don't like being reliously bashed, even when it's subtle. I don't like opinions thrust down my throat. I don't like "precious moments", or any other "adorable" characters. Just not my thing. :) No anime either, coincidentally.
