Hi there!

Where to start?! I love almost ALL movies!

If I had to choose I think my favorite movie is 'The Fountain' with Hugh Jackman. It is not a movie I can watch all the time but when I do I enjoy it more than any other movie I have.

I also love old movies; 'Casablanca', 'Rebel Without a Cause', Murnau's 'Nosferatu', 'Metropolis' and anything by Kurosawa!

I also like Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones and Jim Henson's stuff. It almost goes without saying that I also enjoy Science fiction.

I find that I can't really watch chic flics every day but when I get the itch and nothing else will do my go to movies are Moulin Rouge, The Phantom of the Opera and Bridget Jones' Diary.

I will also often watch anything from Disney and Lord Grades 'The Last Unicorn.'

Tolkein! Tolkein! Tolkein! 'nuf said ;-)

I recently discovered Neil Gaiman. He Rocks! I love his stuff!

Eckhart Tolle is pretty neat too!

Bryan Lee Omalley's 'Scott Pilgrim' series is pure Awesomeness! As is Jeff Smiths 'Bone'

Being an English major I really enjoy literature from the Romantic and Victorian eras. I think Keats and Byron are my favorite poets.

I have to say that even though I am proud to be Canadian, with the exception of Robert Munsch and one or two books by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Canadian literature is terrible (as a rule)!

I live on an island on the west coast of Canada. It is beautiful here. There is ocean, and mountains and lots of big trees!

I graduated a couple years ago from University with a double major in Greek and Roman studies and English. All things ancient fascinate me!

Back in the day I also did a lot of art. I didn't have enough time to pursue it much while I was going to school but I would like to get back into it now that I have more free time.

I also love to travel! I spent a year traveling through New Zealand and Australia. I have also been to Europe a couple times but I would love to see more. There is so much culture and history across the pond -it's wonderful!

I am also really intrigued by Asia and India. I hope that that will be my next destination!

I must confess something; I am a chocoholic. If it contains cocoa I'll eat it! I love to cook and bake: chicken mole' anyone?

I think my music tastes reflect my multiple personalities. For instance I love the old school stylings of Bessie Smith or Billie Holiday but I am also really getting into the electronic scene. Daft Punk and Chromeo top the list.

Other musicians I love are Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Jimmie Hendrix, Sarah Mclaghlan, Loreena Mckennit, Etta James, Great Big Sea, Death Cab for Cutie, Florence and the Machine, etc....
