My darling husband and I share our townhouse in Ballard (Seattle) with our crazy little Rat Terrier, Goblin and my cranky old cat, Ainsley. I have lived in the Northwest my entire life and really love living in Seattle.

I have focused my career in the procurement field, a function I really enjoy (I'm a Buyer). But I do tend to really focus on things outside of work like cycling, traveling, our mini-backyard, baking, cooking and crafting and also how to share these things with friends.

Crochet is my current favorite craft. I taught myself to crochet about 8 years ago because I was bored. I had some great items my great-grandmother made to inspire me and was wanting to make items for friends having babies. In the last year or so I've gone crazy for crocheting.

Embroidery & cross stitch are the crafts I did before I became focused on crochet. My mom taught me when I was little. She and I worked on projects together to give as gifts.

I think if I had more free time I would take up quilting too. I have embroidered squares and made one baby quilt.

Purple! I love everything purple. Some even think I'm a little bit crazy over it.

I watch a lot of television. But I think that's OK since I'm usually creating something (crochet) while I'm watching. The things I can't miss this season are Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Lost, 30 Rock, The Office, Medium, Rules of Engagement The Big Bang Theory & Two & a Half Men.
