Description: | |
This is a good old fashioned seed swap with a twist. Here's how it works: Choose one of your favorite recipes. Make a homemade recipe card (you can download the cards Renee designed on DigginFood.com). Write your recipe on the card. Buy seeds for one of the recipe's ingredients (i.e. if it was a pesto recipe you could send basil seeds). Wrap everything up pretty and send it off to your partner. It's up to you what recipe and seeds you'd like to send, but keep these things in mind: It's a little late to send seeds of vegetables that need to be started inside (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants). It's important to send your seeds on the day the swap starts (April 28). That way your partner will have plenty of garden season to get them in the ground. Have fun! |
