Hi!
I am Tiana, I am 31 yrs old, live in The Netherlands. I recently started Postcrossing and I just love to send nice cards and receive beautiful mail. I see all these nice swaps on this site and it would be wonderful to send and receive small packages like that. It's great to create small pleasures to brighten up the day.
(Please let me know if anything went wrong with what I sent you! I will fix it, I have the best intentions!)
Other small things that brighten up my day: cappuccino, a nice magazine, buying flowers, fresh snow, the sound of squeeking doors, fallen leaves in autumn, children singing and playing without knowing they're being watched.
I would love to find a new writing pal, to just write and send (beautiful!) postcards and/or notecards. Sometimes it's nice to just write a little and not a lot :). Please contact me if you would like that too.
Books by Márquez, Jane Austen, Niccolò Ammaniti, Tolstoj, Haruki Murakami. There are so many books I like!
I studied Dutch Language and Literature, and literature is one of my passions. Any recommendations are welcome :).
I love poetry! If you'd send me your favourite poem, I would be very happy with it! I don't know English poetry like I know Dutch poetry, so I would love to learn.
A few of my favorites in childhood were books by Astrid Lindgren and Beatrix Potter. If you find any cards with illustrations from their books, I would be extremely happy!
Revenge
Girls
New Girl
Downton Abbey
Happy Endings
I adore stationery and tea.
For stationery and postcard themes I like almost anything, except for what is usually called Kawaii. My favourites are fashion photo's / illustrations (can be old ones) and dancing people. I like everything that has to do with art / architecture / literature. And asian pictures, fairytales, magazine covers, buddha, childrens books illustration, other beautiful illustrations, vintage cards, close up pictures, tea pots. I will definitely appreciate your hand made card. I also like girly, pink, flowery things ;). I love letter sets, because I love writing letters :). I LOVE letterpress. I adore Paperchase (i have never been in that shop without buying something)
I like all colors, but my favourites are purple and green. I like soft tones, pastels.
I also like to receive magazines. Any kind, I just love magazines, even if I don't understand.
About the tea: I mostly drink herbal tea or decaffeinated, but white and green tea I also sometimes drink. Rooibos also is good! Black teas I will use for my guests. Only thing that I really don't like, is honey flavour. The very very best is decaffeinated or white Earl Grey tea, mmmm :). Jasmine flavour I also love. And lavender. And fruit tastes.
Two teas that I received amd would LOVE to get more: Milford Rooibos Lemongrass, Acerola Milford Red Orange (You can give me all the same, even if the swap sais otherwise, I will rate hearty ;))
I love beautiful packages with decorated envelopes, cute stationery, fancy tea wraps etc. That is what I will give a heart for!. Handmade is fantastic! :D
Unwritten touristy postcards. I don't know what to do with them, seems kind of strange to send them...
Kawai, though I do like the fairytale stuff
Photos of animals, esp. when they're made 'cute' with ribbons or other stuff. A special, beautiful photo is ok, also animals in landscapes are definitely ok! :)
Are you from the US? I would LOVE one or two of the sheets with Tiffany lamp stamps. These sheets are 20 cents. So if you need to send me something, maybe you could replace something by a sheet. Just contact me if you're in doubt. And if you aren't sending me something, but you would like to do a private swap, please contact me! I would love to send you some nice stickers or something else you like :).

Hi Tiana!
Thank you for the tasty teas that I wanted to try out (Tea Lovers - Europe -forum, Wrapped teabag time -tag)! :)
I really liked the poppy stationary too and enjoyed reading your memory of the melon tea. :) Also thanks for the paper ribbons!
Hi!
I'm sorry for being so late with this, but I really loved the Tea Week swap you sent to me. The items were lovely, I especially liked the sticker flakes and the tiny jar stickers, they were just adorable. And you put so much effort into making me happy, I really appreciate it!
Yes, we have the Happy Song at the ending titles of our AJK episodes, a Finnish translation of course. :)
welkom bij de Dutch Swappers, op ons groepsforum kun je makkelijke tips vinden over het swappen en nog veel meer gezelligheid, groet Susan
