I enjoy quilting, sewing, scrapbooking, cross stitching and re-doing items from thrift stores. This summer my husband surprised me when I came home from work one day and found a Janome Horizon sewing machine sitting on my dining room table! Since then I have found that sewing is my passion. I recently purchased a sock loom and have enjoyed trying to learn how to use it. My mom has a knitting machine that I think I might try to learn how to use too.

I am a Christian. I work as a Deputy Tax Collector full time. I'm married to a truly awesome man who is so understanding and supportive of my hobbies. I'm a mother to two amazing girls . . . ages 18 and 16. I'm also a Grammy to the cutest baby girl ever! I have two terrific friends at work who we enjoy doing crafts together on "Craft Night" which is usually on Friday, and enjoying spending time with them going to lunch or shopping. When I'm at home I rarely take time to just sit . . . if I'm not cleaning the house or doing laundry you can find me in my craft room. My husband and I enclosed our garage and made it into my craft room. My youngest daughter spends a lot of time in it too. We can sometimes stay up until 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning sewing or working on a project together.

My favorite band right now is Third Day. I enjoy Leeland, Micheal West, Brandon Heath, and anything put out by the Gaither's.

I recently found a new to me author that I'm enjoying . . . Shelly Sheppard Gray. I'm looking for good Christian authors . . . so if you have found some that you enjoy please let me know.

I love the Twilight Saga, Little Miss Sunshine, and the Harry Potter movies. Can you tell that I have teenagers?

Not much for TV . . . If I do watch TV I watch the Weather Channel, or the News.

My likes are: buttons, wooden thread spools, ribbon, vintage sewing patterns, stickers, patterned paper, and just general cute stuff you wouldn't normally buy for yourself.

My dislikes are: people that complain.
