About Me

I like pumpkin orange and pumpkins in general. They make me happy! I like four leaf clovers of which I have a large collection. I find them like hotcakes in the summertime because I have a strange obsession about looking for them. The same goes for sharks' teeth at the beach, but I don't find those much these days 'cause I don't live very near a coast.

I like all kinds of dolls and puppets and I love small things. I like patchwork stuff and quilty things, too.

I enjoy reading about people in biographies, autobiographies, travel books, and zines. I also read some good science fiction on occasion.

I like Germany and I like learning German.

Now, before this disappears on me, I better save it!

I like sewing, drawing, making artist trading cards, making zines, dollmaking, quiltmaking, writing, envelope making and a host of other things.

Comment: She e-mailed to say it was going to be late, because she forgot. That was not big deal, but when it arrived it was just a fabric envelope with simply zigzag meandering all over. Not embellished at all.
Response: I suppose embellishing is subjective. I made a really nice envelope with finished edges and I hand sewed the edges shut (no glue). I thought it was lovely. Blessed be.

Comment: Cute pc-saw a Moose like that one while in Alaska. He crossed a four lane highway bringing traffic to a major STAND DOWN. You should've seen the cameras suddenly appear out of car windows. Thank you for reminding me of a fond memory. Also great quote too!
