I am semiretired looking forward to having time to make stuff.

I like to macrame and once made a macrame bikini.

Embroidery and quilting are two favorite things to do.

I am learning the joys of sewing with felt. Great for more instant gratification.

Would love to design embroidery and quilts patterns.

Learning to crochet now and make a rag rug.

I just need to make things. It is soothing to my soul.

Will write more later. I wrote a lot on every category and lost it all so I'll try incremental progress. :)

I have horses, dogs, cats, chickens and various other animals that roam into the pasture. I love all animals - lots. And most people too!

Just finished listening to "Fair and Tender Ladies". Great book but the narrator was spectacular.

"A Walk in the Woods" outstanding.

"Twelve 'Christian' Beliefs That Will Make You Crazy" is FABULOUS. Highly recommend.

Ceasar Milan' s "Be the Pack Leader". It is excellent.

Just finished "A Man, A Bird and a Fowl Obsession". Great fun! really enjoyed it!

Another Brother Cadfel book. Excellent and fun as usual.

HIGHLY recommend "Following Atticus", by Tom Ryan.

"Death's Acres" a true story that is not grisley in the usual book way. It is the story of a professor at the University of Tennessee who started a study of how dead bodies decompose in diffenerent weather conditions. Very interesting read!!

"The Man From Snowy River" is a favorite because of the horse scenes and geography.

In general I like happy movies with happily ever after endings.

"Enchanted", "Beverly Hills Chihuahua", "Pride and Prejudice" all versions.

I enjoyed the concepts behind "The Matrix" and other science fiction but they can delete the violence.

Will add more as I think of them.

I like to quilt bed and art quilts. Love to embroider.

Learning to crochet, play the flute and may start a beehive. I think the honey would be fun - make stuff with it and play with the wax. FUN!!! :)

I love fabric and have tons although much of my precious stash is packed away temporarily.

Love color which is one reason I have so much fabric and thread. Just cannot seem to resist beautifully colored things!

Swap bot now has me doing inchies with fabric and i really enjoy making these little reflects of myself in all my many facets. :)

I am a newbie but will always send. Too responsibile to not send!

Also, I am new to the creative world and may try some of the swaps even though I am not sure what I am doing. My creativity is very rusty. If my swap is not up to par please let me know and I'll try to do something about it.

I love all postcards however my favorite subjects are animals and birds. Any animal will be loved and admired and so will any bird.

I would also like to collect a PC from each state. I will gladly do private swaps and send you a card from Hawaii. A card that reflects the State postmarked in the state if possible.

Really, I just enjoy getting happy mail and any postcard. Thank you all!
