NB: I post the things I make on flickr so Spoiler Alert! if you are receiving from me.
You can have a browse of Flickr and Pinterest to see what sort of themes I like, but here is a bit of a list:
I like bold colours as long as they don't clash, but I like pretty pastels too. And muted colours. You can't really go wrong if you know how to colour coordinate. Feel free to use your favourite colours. :) However, my fave colour is blue - especially the blues of tropical water - in case you need to know that for any swap.
Not into anything:
The crafts I do: Crochet, toy making, sewing, papercutting, inchies and ATCs, jewelry, photography, hand embroidery and baking.
Things I like that I can't do (yet): Advanced amigurumi, needle felting, painting objects, watercolours, pottery, lampwork, wood carving, letterpress
I do like other things too of course, that's just what springs to mind.
I like big bang theory, firefly, weeds, dead like me, black books, blackadder, dexter, true blood, my little pony
Plus documentaries, especially BBC nature docos.
I read a lot of stuff, but not much of it would I like any related craft items for. The exceptions are generally the books I am nostalgic for because I read them when I was younger. Books like:
I also like a lot of comics and blogs and would appreciate anything inspired by:
I always check my partners' profiles before I start crafting, so I'll never send early, but I always send. Haven't missed one yet. :)
It also means if you have any ideas of what you would like from a swap and it's me making it for you, you should add some 'likes' to your profile.
I rate as soon as I receive anything, so if I haven't rated you it hasn't arrived yet. Letters usually take 1 to 2 weeks to get from Australia to the US/Canada. And closer to 3 to Europe. And parcels seem to take longer than letters. So don't panic if it seems to be taking a while. If it's longer than a month though, then you can start to wonder.
