About Me

I love love love fashion. I write a style column for a local magazine. I love to shop and said column is a great excuse to do so. I recently discoved Blythes and Dals and am truley smitten. I love sewing for them, building a house for them, writing photostories for them etc. I love yoga, pilates, reading, traveling, being silly and shopping. I am in the process of editing my first novel.

Favorite Books

I was a Creative Writing/English major. I love to read almost anything. My favorites are: Laurie Stolarz, Jodie Picoult, Barbara Kingsolver, Oscar Wilde, Marquis de Sade, and lots more that I can't think of. I also love glossy celebrity weeklies, MisBehave, and monthly fashion glossies.

Likes:

kawaii, re-ment, anything cute, squirrels, pink, purple, robins egg blue, fashion, frenchspiration, toile, fleur de lis, damask etc.

Dislikes:

I am not a fan of gothic stuff, lolita stuff, or inspirational/religious stuff.

My Dolls

Sydney (Dal Frara) a sweet, sensitive, mischievous gal. She loves frogs, plushies and is a mama's girl.

Charlotte (Dal Monomono) sweet, but more mischevious than Sydney. She likes to make prank phone calls, watch E! news and she loves monkeys.

Blair (Blythe Save the Animals) Blair is sweet and nurturing but easily influenced by others. She loves all animals and was born in Capetown and is fluent in Afrikaans.

Gretchen (Blythe Velvet Minuet) Is the bad girl of the family. She aspires to be more of a badass than Paris Hilton and one day hopes to have her own night vision video on the iternets. She likes to party, dress in the latest fashions and corrupt Blair.

Tinsley - The newest member of the doll family is quite the Humanitarian as well as the resident fashionista. She balances her time between working for her organization called the Plastic Rights Campaign and shopping on Newbury St in Boston.

Emee (Blythe Petite Samedi Marche) A sweet little thing who can't get enough of the Food Network and could have her own show.

Coco (Blythe Petite Hills Party) Gets on great with Gretchen but aspires to be more like Nicole Richie. Practices yoga and Kabbalah

Un-named Lati Yellow Lami - waiting (rather impatiently) for her arrival.

Comment: I absolutely, positively adore Ruby!! I have received many lovely swaps on Swap-bot, but this is the first to make me laugh! Her dice, sushi, cake, and egg are adorable. Her story is precious--I love the part about thinking she was a Chihuahua in a former life--gotta love the purse! And how many people can say they own a miniature rubber chicken?! Thank you so much!
